Jesus i just KNEW i had seen him somwhere.. looked on his IMDB i was an extra on set of a feature film in 2016 called 'Day of Reckoning" where he was AD'ing

It's to mark that they are actually clapping the slate to avoid confusion with other sounds that may sound like a clap.

This means that every department needs to check (take a 'last look') if everything is as it should be (for example hair & make-up: if two characters share a kiss, it's likely their make-up needs a retouch for a second, third, fourth... take). After this you're ready to shoot.

He means shooting a scene in a day that wasn’t scheduled originally but may have time for (if they’re moving faster than expected or a scene is cut, etc).

Interesting for you to call someone lazy without knowing that person and making this judgement off a KZfaq video. Actually, Josh always works hard on the sets he is on. Also, the crew and actors enjoy working with him.
