Don’t forget to thank all the elders that died and fought to get you here. I’m native and an older one at that. You have to bring all of us with you where ever you go. Lots of feathers mean lots of strength. Let’s keep this conversation going

Thank you for sharing this part of your life with us. You crammed a whole lot of living into a short period of time. I can easily see why you were feeling tired. It truly is an advantage to be young. More power to you. I enjoyed the entire video.

Regarding clip 5:22 Very unique move for a powwow dancer, thought you were going to turn it into a back spin and I think you may have been able to pull it off too. If you are intending on incorporating break dance moves into your dancing look up movies like Breakin 1 and 2 as well as Beat Street. Also you can get moves from hip hop music videos from the mid 80's from like 86 til the early 90's. You may notice indigenous moves were incorporated into those dances whereas you can update them to fit the current time and add to it. I just assuming that is what you are doing based on the clip I pointed out but if I'm off I apologize although it might be interesting to see the aforementioned dance moves blended into powwow dancing consider all three dance moves share similar moves. Thanx for sharing.

Yes!! please make more powwow videos! I wish their were alot more native/powwow creators i could watch all day. I love watching powwow vlogs, would be cool if more people made videos of their regalia closet cause us natives are nosey! lol my daughter has alot of dresses, i wonder if ppl sell theirs, if they keep em all etc.. make a pack with me for a powwow.. things like that would be so interesting to see & compare to our own trips! talk about hotels what they prefer, just all the inside and outs would be so cool to hear from others!

Geez, there’s no such thing. A professional native? I’ve been going to pow wows for fifty plus years. That’s such a colonial thing to Identify with. Pow wows are for socializing and for the love of dancing. Society is turning everyone into distorted images of the ancestors. Pow wows ARE NOT a career. Our ancestors are turning in their graves.
