Time to set up the pool for the season.
We try the fire pump, it's fun!
The work on the staircase continues.
I fix the bottom C channel on the outside of the greenhouse.
I clean and start filling the pool with water making sure no folds form.
I save a hummingbird from the greenhouse.
Divine gets up the lower stairs for the first time.
Snow! Heavy snow. Trying to save the chicken net from breaking under the weight of the snow.
The snow delays the installation of the upper stairs. I go bear hunting instead.
How will I prevent water from sipping through the plywood joints of the roof?

_______________
I purchased a camera in early 2003 and from then on, kept a regular video diary.
It is with Heart Wide Open, that I share my add-ventures on my journey in Life.
Every week I upload alternatively a video from the past (starting in 2003 while teaching English in Seoul, South Korea) and one from 6 months ago where I live off-grid, in the middle of nowhere, with the love of my life and our animals.
In the recent videos (episodes), you will see me learn to build, pretty much by myself, projects such as a root cellar, a passive solar greenhouse to grow food year round, a shop/garage with a mezzanine and tackle the daily challenges of living so remotely.
In the videos of the past, you will see the path which led me from teaching English in Korea to my current lifestyle. From the Freedom 35 project to Living in Slovakia, from marriage to divorce, you will witness my unique journey which has shaped me into who I am now.
Hope you enjoy!
