This video is a video one of my best friends, Alyssa, filmed and edited. Alyssa is a PR and Communications major and is so unbelievably talented in this field. I was lucky enough to be asked to be her topic and focus for this video- one she used as her final project in her media productions class. I uploaded this because I want to show off her amazing talents to the world and give her the publicity she deserves!!! I am so proud of you Alyssa and very thankful for you!

Your story about breaking your leg is inspiring to me. I fractured my ankle recently and I’m not allowed back on the ice until the middle of January. I’ve been nervous that I’m going to forget all I’ve worked on but knowing that you went through something similar is inspiring since I now know I wont forget everything I’ve learned

I just entered your giveaway without even realizing you are a skater! This is so inspiring for me. Right now, I am stuck. I haven't been getting new jumps down and my spins are not good enough. It's hard for me to go out and practice and work hard, when I'm not doing as well as I wish. Thank you for this video.

I actually found your channel after looking up some stuff about figure skating and found your 2012 Junior Olympics team, congrats on the medal. I was wondering if you've heard of an anime that came out recently that features male figure skating called Yuri On Ice? If anime isn't your thing I understand but it really is a fantastic show. Good luck with competitions and your channel!

I loved this video so much! As a figure skater, it can be soo discouraging when you have a bad day or two and it may seem like you want to give up but you have to learn that maybe it's just not your day and that's something to deal with as a skater. I may not be the best skater for my age, I may have to practice being more flexible to execute my jumps and spins nicely, but I know that figure skating is something I never want to give up and I would like to thank you for this super inspirational video:))

Figure skating is so amazing and elegant. What is the move called where you spin really fast? How do you keep from falling over or passing out? It seems like you would get really dizzy.

i think it’s called a backspin also you get used to spinning and your body adjusts
