I started the video a couple minutes in, and was looking everywhere for the convict on the screen. There he is, smartly dressed and dapper, up in the top left.

This guy knows how to do his hearing the right way. He's got a scary past, but he's taken advantage of all the programs, and was honest, and respectful to the board. He still has to do 5 more years, which is good.
@SlickArmor
@SlickArmor 3 ай бұрын
Except he didn't and we don't know how much longer he was in. Probably got immediate parole if I had to guess and didn't have to wait 5 more years. Possibly 6 months to a year more while waiting on that hearing. That was only a suggestion.
@jamesjmh
@jamesjmh 3 ай бұрын
@@SlickArmor This wasn't a parole hearing. It was a commutation hearing, and his sentence was commuted to 99 years with parole eligibility in 5 years.
@SlickArmor
@SlickArmor 3 ай бұрын
@@jamesjmh I'm aware of that. Did you not hear that Roche said it was a suggestion and it wasn't guaranteed? Did you also not hear that it was 20 when this went down and that he is already out? Are you also aware that the format for these are commuting to 99 with immediate parole? Finally since we know He's out and it's way short the 5 years that he probably was released immediately as is standard. So at most like I said he was out in under a year.
@jamesjmh
@jamesjmh 3 ай бұрын
@@SlickArmor I stand corrected. He was paroled 3 years later, in August, 2023. I just watched that parole hearing. They should have made him do the 5 years, but... oh well.
@SlickArmor
@SlickArmor 3 ай бұрын
@@jamesjmh I agree. I'm not sure how I feel about these commutations but I'm mostly leaning toward not liking them. But who am I, I have no formal justice education. Did Mandoo put up the parole hearing or did you see it somewhere else?

I feel like every time someone gets parole this whole channel is outraged. I’m down to keep the child molesters in there bc they never rehabilitate, but jesus…. You can’t keep everyone in jail. Some people DO change. That’s not even to mention that prisons are overcrowded as is and they’re using up tax dollars sometimes unnecessarily. You can’t keep everyone in prison forever….
