I met Bobby 3/4 years ago outside Sainsburys on Hackney road asking for donations for the club. He is a credit to the community and he has worked so hard to make it happen. He deserves all the success and recognition he gets! So much more to come from HWFC.

The day of this filming, I was fortunate enough to meet Bobby down in Little Oakley, Essex (the club I play for) honestly a true true guy wanting the best for the community & opportunities for the youth. I grew up local to Hackney myself so seeing this really made me proud of Bobby👏🏽

exactly, if anything it does the opposition of what it is designed to do. There are a million stories like Bobby's that don't or don't need to be documented. Normal people going about their lives, it is not really black history is it.

@Afro Sam yes he turned it around so well done him, but peer pressure, lack of opportunities and environment can and does apply to people of all colour, not just people with black skin. the elephant in the room here is the corporate sponsored mainstream media who are stereotyping black people in order to cause division.

Mad how there is all this hype around black history month yet never any talk about Asian history month in May, Hispanic history month which just ended, Hawaiian history month (May), European history month (September). I’m the first person to call for equality but this doesn’t seem like it. The push for the black lives movement is absolutely right but to disregard all other races and focus solely on the importance of one race is part of the problem.

The reason there's no European history month is because no one stole European history and claimed it as their own oh and not to mention European history is taught worldwide. The reason why black history is important is because for centuries the achievements of black people have been underplayed to fit the idea of white supremacy because of how many economies relied/rely on that idea of innate white supremacy.
