They started texting people they started to become nationalist because in the beginning the Ottoman were not just turks. They were turks Kurdish Persian Arabs, and they had commanders from Kurdish, Turkish and Arabs and Persian identity but then after that, they became nationalist that’s why it fell and then after that, it just got worse and worse

I congratulate the team "Towards Eternity " for such a wonderful depiction of the greatest hero of Islamic history. Keep up the excellent work, would like to add a suggestion here ie to include map where we want to show important movements of the said person ie he was born in Tikrit, at that time head quarters of Ottomon emire was where Nur ud din Zangi was, which route Saladin adopted to capture Egypt and how he entered Jerusalem etc

Subhan'Allah. As someone who considers himself first Muslim, and then Kurdish, I really doubt the added value your statement has about the descent of Salahedin Ayubi. The only thing this causes is division. We know, we muslims like to debate this topic and therefore it is better to leave that aside in my opinion. Salahedin Ayubi was a Muslim with a greater goal than nationality. His achievements and significance transcend any specific ethnic or national categorisation. However, in case you do mention his descent, I believe it is your responsibility to do it correctly. The historical consensus states that Salahedin Ayubi and the whole Ayubid dynasty were from Kurdish descent, which is well documented. The descent of his mother's side is not as well documented, but the historical consensus states his mother is from Kurdish descent too. For example, Ibn al-Athir, who lived during the time of the Ayubids and is a recognised Arab Historian, specifically talks about Salahedin's Kurdish descent in his writings. Another example is the well recognised Arab historian and biographer Ibn Khallikan, who also emphasised Salahedin's Kurdish background in his biographical dictionary. Salahedin's lineage is namely rooted in the Kurdish Ayubid dynasty, originating from the town Dvin. His family later moved to Tikrit in 1137, as you have mentioned. They dressed as Kurds, talked Kurdish and Arabic, and recognised themselves as Kurds. Far more important than his descent, he freed Jerusalem for the sake of Islam. Alhamdullillah.

Brother, don't say that. This channel does many great things for the ummah. If they make a mistake, it's human to make a mistake. They most likely picked it up from Google, which just has mentioned that his mother was turk, but with no references to her family background. I don't believe they've done this to provoke kurds. I'm kurdish myself, and I've seen all their content is very good and islamic and not nationalism. Even if other Muslim have nationalistic jahelija in them, we should be examplery and show that we are different nations under one ummah and we are all the brothers of one another. Allah would not call us on the day of resurrection by our nationality, but rather by our ummah. Jazak Allah, brother, for your deep resurch and clearing up the mistake.
