That's one cute lamp tbh! Also, I agree chemex, pour over kits, and coffee making is an art (i find it extremely meditative) my coffee needs to be made a certain way, with all the essentials and coffee making machines and tools I have, so I created a coffee counter for me in the kitchen haha! For the chemex process, place the filter, pour hot water onto it - get rid of the water, now add your coffee grinds to the filter, and start pouring hot water in the middle (with your gooseneck kettle), slowly and steadily, wait a while for it to filter out your coffee in the container below, again continue pouring from middle to the ends, slowly and steadily - and you are good to go. I use the Arabica and Robusta Coffee Blend in a medium roast, so that's swell. I switched my sweetener from sugar to brown jaggery and sometimes honey as well. I hope this helps @esther!

i think it's worth it to buy an espresso machine even with a chemex! the chemex is great but limiting since you won't be able to make latte-like drinks with it. just a tip - the 20% bed bath beyond discount works for espresso machines 😉
