Here is an update, how the Law of Attraction ruined my life. A follow up video to my previous one. Things getting even worse. Is the Law of Attraction the biggest lie in human history? Also the documentary "The Secret" gets mentioned in this video.

Same story for me. 😔 It ruined my life. Trying to be positive when bad things happen, is okay, but when we believe that being happy will help us get our best life, and it doesn't, it crushes us. I also followed Law of Assumption, which doesn't happen difficult rules, but even then I failed. The only successful people are the KZfaq teachers and coaches that earn their money from ad revenue and coaching. That seems like a classic scam. I think we should accept that we drank the kool-aid, and fell for teachers who parrot Neville and other teachers. Wasted 4 years on this garbage. Broke my mental health by forcing myself to be positive. I don't care anymore. I'm happy with a mediocre life, as long as I'm happy.

You are doing it wrong brother. The point is not to be happy; the point is to be POSSITIVE. Go to the psychologist to fix yourself and be a bit more aware to use this type of power. We are not supposed to attract things out of our capacity. Once this make senses things will work...

I wasted 5 to 6 years with this crap and it ruined my metal health. OCD and depression got really bad. I honestly got so much more happening in my life rn that I don’t care about the law than before. I got unstuck. My mental health improved as well.

I live in the Netherlands and it is so refreshing to know an alternative view on the "the law of attraction". For instance to pray or to manifest large amounts of money, then if all would desire this then societies are bound for bankrupcy.

I remember a couple of years ago, I was searching for someone who spoke negatively about the Law of Attraction. I found some Christians labeling it as the devil’s work, of course, but I wanted to hear from someone who actually tried to make the Law of Attraction work, like yourself. To my surprise, I couldn't find anyone. It's amazing and refreshing to find someone who actually critiques the Law of Attraction, and yes, it can be very dangerous. Unfortunately, the truth is that not everyone is going to be successful in life. It depends on so many variables that it's incalculable. Yes, hard work and dedication can help and can get you places, but that's not always true in this world. I left you another comment on another video explaining my reasons for saying that.

I don't know if it works or not. Some things has worked or been very opportune. However the bigger items has not worked at all or has been very frustrating. For example, I was homeless and I am fortunate to be living somewhere now. However, I have been treating for a home of my own and all I have is a vision for a new home. I want a job and to finish college and all I have experienced is frustration and going around in circles. I feel like Moses who has seen the promised land but never reached it or like Tanatalus taunted by water and fruit. I was clotheless and I got clothing but I'm still not financially independent or even have a job. I learned skills but not found employment. I feel almost like a beggar. I feel like I'm on the threshold of success and destitution. Struggling to breathe and be free but still being weighed down by what I don't know, understand or see. I tried agriculture and am doing better than most of my colleagues regarding production. Yet no matter how much I try, I am barely getting any sales, but I have colleagues who are sold out weekly. I am tired, frustrated and almost ready to die. I keep asking what did I do to deserve this torture? What?

Dont know if you are right but i see at your core you are negative ,i think if you want it to work you shouldnt care,be stoic.Observe what kind of talk going inside your head,doesnt matter if you say mandras and are positive but your self talk is constant comparing and lack. I think loa is a tool to improve ones spiritual level by rewarding rather than money machine

It is quite the dilemma. Not only does confirmation bias want us to support our own beliefs which could be true or false, survivorship bias makes the success stories much more available, as you stated. On top of that, we will naturally chose to follow the path of least resistance. Masking the problem is always easier short-term than bettering it. I clicked on this video because I personally do believe in the law of attraction, but wanted to see how I could be wrong. I feel like the law has worked for me in almost magical ways, but I also feel like I am purposefully forgetting the times when it didn't--confirmation bias. And by seeing this video, I finally have the chance to witness the other side of survivorship bias--the "failed" cases. I believe you are a great person. You tried hard, probably more than most, for three years straight. Yet you would have to be psychotic to keep pushing without any results, which I hope we are both glad you are not haha. I'm not here to judge whether you are doing the "techniques" incorrectly or if there are deeper limiting beliefs within you that you are covering up with this obsession. I guess I'm just here to leave a comment and hope the law works in some backwards way to give to you what you've spent three years trying to get. Here's a sub and a like as well.

I agree, I've done everything possible to create the best conditions for the Law of Attraction in my life and it's done absolutely nothing for me. It feels as if I've gone backwards. When you speak about the frustration and the depression that comes from these teachings I relate, because you do everything you're supposed but get zero results. I've now completely cut off these ways off thinking, I don't watch videos, I don't listen to 'gurus' and I don't even care anymore. Let me tell you, I feel so relived that I don't have to do all these affirmations, and meditations and positive thinking all the time. I wish you all the best on your journey sir your video is valuable.

I don't bother with this stuff anymore. Just got to live your life, take the good and bad. You seem a very kind, honest down to earth person. It's brave of you to go against the grain knowing you will get a lot of flack from law of attraction believers. Most will get mean due to you challenging their beliefs, which is unnecessary. Most people who leave comments against you are more than likely down and out, looking for hope in this, and I totally get that. Thanks for sharing. I hope things look up with your situation brother, and don't give up. Not the universe, I believe in YOU. Take care.

It is not just about visualizing and feeling good, that's why the books lied to you. It's about your belief system, and your hidden beliefs that you are not aware of. You can do all the visualizing stuff but if deep down you don't realistically believe your goal is possible then that is your TRUE belief. I was like you, I got obsessed and consumed 200+ books on LOA. My life went into a downward spiral, I lost everything, I was $100K in debt, my health suffered. I had a lot of childhood trauma. But I did not give up, all of this was happening to make me better. I persisted, it took 5 years but I turned everything around. I am a self made millionaire today, my business is thriving, my health is back, I found a beautiful wife. It is real, just not how you think it is.

@@mrheck5311 honestly nothing special. I made a plan and took action on it every single day (very poorly too, I have ADHD so I procrastinate and waste a lot of time). I went for walks and listened to audiobooks to convince myself to stay positive. Eventually I hung in there long enough to get good enough to succeed. It really seemed impossible at times. It was blind faith and belief in manifestation that helped me turn it all around - but you gotta stay the course.

I thought the exact same thing when I heard him! It was his true self concept, he had no real belief because manifestation is real! It’s a belief system, it’s what you truly believe… that’s the only way anything will ever work… weather it’s religion you believe in, or spirituality… it all comes down to your true core beliefs… I made a quarter of a million dollars in 2 years and it was not bed of roses… but it showed me when I believed it happened. Belief + inspired action will allow you to create your reality.

I think the issue is admitted in the beginning. You were obsessed with law of attraction. Obsession isnt how it works.

I believe you are focusing too much on the material aspect instead of the energetic aspect of law of attraction. Whatever energy you put out into the world you will get back. You must give with a cheerful heart to be able to receive blessings from the universe.

Your belief is one that bad things happen. You’re so animated in your victimhood. You don’t “try”, it’s your belief you have to change. Law of assumption/ attraction is bunk, but beliefs do create or builds like a snowball that turns into an avalanche.

You say "obsessed" a lot. That's the key to your problems. Wanting stuff and obsessing over it is not manifesting. You are reminding yourself you do not have these things. Neville Goddard stated many times, about mental diet. Imagine yourself in the 'End State' with belief then let it go. Manifesting is about going inside of you, and discovering why you need things outside of yourself. That's when you discover you don't. That's when what you need manifests for you.

Nope, the whole obsessing thing is bullshit. You can have an object and still be obsessive about it such as a car, a house, or a new videogame so that already makes zero sense. Also, the letting go is not what you think it means. It means to let go of all the doubts and negative thoughts but never the desire. The desire is always there and it is normal. I manifested my girlfriend, relationship, money, and good health and body and I thought about it every single day.

😂 dude read Bible once, in bible mark 11:24 it is written that " Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours., also you need to understand the very law of attraction is derived from Bible, do you know who is joseph murphy, he had written the book the power of your subconscious mind, he was a priest, and do you know who had written the bookt called the power of positive thinking, norman vincent, he was a clergyman, which means what Jesus had tell you in bible and the law of attraction are same, also Jesus said in the Bible, those who have, more will be given, those who dont, even what he have will taken away, this is also law of attraction, stay in the vibration of your wish fulfilled, untill it manifests in your 3d reality, without any doubt, it will come to pass

First of all, you seem to be a great guy, hardworking and determined. Respect. But you also seem kinda naive. The "Law of Attraction" only increases your chances of achieving your goal and doesn't guarantee it, as you mentioned with the President's example-that would be impossible. Did the Law of Attraction ruin your life? C'mon, you tried and failed, so what? I believe it was a nice try from you. You did well. Being overly positive despite things going wrong is just being delusional and it's surely not helpful-you need to accurately assess your situation. I believe that the purpose of the Law of Attraction is to connect you with the person you want to become. You don't need to focus solely on positive thoughts but on becoming the person who deserves what you yearn for. What do you need to do to be in that situation? What would that person do if they were in your position? If you visualize the person you want to become and feel the emotion and satisfaction from their perspective, you get a stimulus to act. You have a goal, and you should ask yourself how you can achieve it. If something doesn't work, something doesn't work - then how can you get it? Try and fail. In this case, the Law of Attraction starts to move you. It gives you a reason. How is that a scam? "Seek and Ye Shall Find" subscribed

I honestly think u might r doing it wrong. It has nothing to do with just Manifesting etc. U have to feel it. I mean u have to know this after all those books, but maybe not. If u feel happy all the time, things will happen that make u feel more happy. U r just wishing for things. Wishing for change. Etc. That makes things worse Also the comment u posted. That guy doesnt understand anything. He is in a constand state of lack. Of course things will get worse. Also if u think about driving ur dreamcar u shlould NOT be crazy excited at all. It is ur car. Its nothing special. Its has to feel completely normal to have it. And now ur Brain is looking for things that prove that the loa is wrong. So of course it will fuck up ur live 😅 U first have to know what u really want. Which is almost never a car or milions of Money. Most people don’t even get this First Step right and thats why they fail. They only know what they don’t want. And oc they attract what they don’t want in that case. BTW is reality just an Illusion. So oc can all 50 get President. If u r Stuck in ur mind, still Identity as a Human beeing etc. the loa will never work for u

But all the professional mentors teach it that way. Even the guy, who is a mentor and manifesting his dream car is Level 9000 more excited about it than me, and even pretends, he is driving it in his living room chair. They teach it that way. Let's say, could you manifest a 700 000 USD dream car in a few weeks? Would that work for you?

No, but if I really really wanted it maybe I could. Its about believes. I would Manifest like 100 Dollars unexpected by End of this month. Then it would happen and I would believe and go bigger. Thats how u do it. But I don’t know if that would make me happy. I want to be happy, healthy etc. My Main goal was to have the life of a teen as Long as possible. So thats what Im manifesting. Im 27 and only have been sick twice for like 4 days in the last 7 years. I never worked more than 2 Days per week and still make good money. Its Like I have Summer Holidays with a 2 day Part time Job for the last 10 years. So excactly what I wanted. Just chillig in the sun all day. I also always wanted a cat, but my parents didnt allow it. Also wanted to move out. One day 5 years ago, my Brother Calls me. He Said he bought a cat (he never wanted one) but cant care for it, bc he is moving to the Next city. And he wanted to know if I could move in his apartment. So I did. It was also the exact cat race that I wanted. Couldnt believe it. Its a Huge apartment top. And I didnt had to pay any Rent. Still live here with the cat. I asked my Brother one day why he even bought the cat. He Smiled and Said he doesnt even know. This all cant be a coinsident.

I am talking about the teachers, promising everything, if you are super enthusiastic about stuff, excited, obsessed, and than it comes true. I tried all that, but it did not work at all. And all I hear and read in the comments here is: No, I can't, but would, would, would", I am happy with my life I don't need expensive stuff"" Someone show me, how to manifest a 700 000 USD car in a short amount of time with the Law of Attraction, and just proof it. Always happy, never sick, minimal amount of work, which I enjoy etc? How is manifesting a 700k car more Impressive to u? I am more happy than 90% of all milionaires/bilionaires. U have to fix ur priorities. Maybe the Universe sees that u r Stuck in materialistic thoughts, which also is ur ego not u. Maybe Deep inside u all u want is beeing an happy enlightend, unseperated part of the source, like I am. And u get all the lessons that its not about materalistic things etc. But just don’t see them. If I would Manifest a car, that would Not be me. Only my ego would do that. But I am not my mind. Not my Body. I have them, but I am not them. So why Manifest something for my ego when I can Manifest for myself, the observer. If beeing happy for 99.9% of the time u live, is not enough for u, I cant help u. If I would give u that dreamcar right now, but u could not sell it, ur live would be good for like a week and after that as miserable as before. U have to wake up 😊

hmm, I think that you are trying/have tried too hard. Your explanation of all that you have done seems forced, and thereby seems unnatural. Obsession is not the way to manifestation, but rather the way to insanity.

You have some massive resistance in your core beliefs. Very important, the teachings of the Secret are rubbish ....It is actually not called the law of attraction , it is the law of assumption.... You don't attraction attract anything .... It is a state of being
