My daughter was a surrogate for two guys in New Jersey. Everything went well , and she kept in touch with them for quite a while after she gave birth. Learning about your side of the adventure was interesting. I'm sure everything will work out for the two of you.

It is tough to adult, be husbands, dog-dads, planning to be parents, courageously (and, it seems, always naively) embarking on the highly-uncertain IVF process, surrogacy, and both with new jobs!!! Whew! That's enough for a decade of life together, guys! I say "new jobs," because going back to scratch with the goodpark line, Taylor, was a whole new thing. An, adjusting to life apart (both) while starting a new position, Jeff, is a lot for anybody. You guys deserve kudos, hugs, and all the time away that you need to be healthy and happy together and with your unfolding lives. You are remarkable, stronger, and even more inspiring as partners, as parents-to-be, and examples of being a resilient gay married couple. Honest too. The algorithm revealed you guys to me just weeks before your last video went up and I fell head first into all of your content and felt like I binged and learned everything that had been shared and developed a connection with you both. Great to see you both back on u tube. Following u on instagram so I knew you were doing well and thought that the process for putting a u tube video together was more time consuming and that life gets so busy, one runs out of minutes in the day. I’m having a hard time realizing May is coming and I’ve not traveled out San Diego since a December, 2023 trip to NYC. You both look great, have a plan for the immediate future, so enjoy the opportunities and challenges and glad u had a great trip to the desert and that the weather did not act up. Our Southern CA weather and rain has been quite unpredictable😎

OMG you guys! I was thinking about you and your IVF journey! I started my IVF this January - from 5 embryos I got 2 A rate and 1 B rate embryos. First IVF try with two embryos was unsuccessful and I was a bit stressed about it (I was hoping for twins). After a month my agency changed my surrogate and second try with third remaining embryo just turned into a pregnancy this week! I am still waiting for confirmation of embryo being in the uterus in next week. Let me tell you, its a journey! I am very grateful for everyone involved.

So happy to see you back on KZfaq. I have missed you both. IVF is quite the journey. My daughter and her fiancé have gone through it.-the ups and downs you talked about, we all felt it right along with them. They took this route because of her age-41 After 2 rounds, they said...only one more round. And...the third round led to a successful pregnancy with one frozen embryo for later. She is in her 38th week now. I remember how we cheered when she would come out of the egg retrieval with a high # written on her hand standing for the eggs they retrieved. Then later watching the number dwindle for a number of reasons. The term I wasn't aware of was 'immature' eggs. How could a 41 year old have immature eggs? I soon learned what that all meant. I know you are thinking about the money, and it is a lot, but it is an investment for your future family. Please don't give up, and I wish you the best. You both will be amazing parents!!!!!

Or did you mean that you continued with the same egg donor, but you had to wait for her cyst to go away? What was it about the cyst that made it a problem?
