The amount of patience we need is huge doing long distance relationships/marriage. We both have responsibilities and plans for the future which we are working towards it now but at the same time it’s challenging cz we already built up comforts, habits and get used to physically present when we were in our honeymoon in Bali for 2 weeks. It was lovely and sad at the same time, but we have to face the reality that we haven’t sort out the visa yet 🥹 Now I have to set new plans, build different habit, and I have different responsibilities towards our daughter, Bianca, preparing her to live in Perth Australia because of the culture and language differences. Hey, we are strong babe! I know we can get through this. Always remember that Allah is bigger than our problems. I will always wait for you! And I believe Allah’s timing is perfect ❤ I love you! Semangat sayang 💪

Love doesn’t ever seem to come easy brother, when it’s hard, sometimes it means it’s worth fighting for. Things that come easy might not always be the best options. Love to see that you found love bro. And if it’s meant to be, everything will fall into place as it should. Be strong and pray that Allah makes it a fast and easy process for the visas to be sorted asap. What’s 2 years when you still have a lifetime ahead of you together! But I feel how it can be sad and painful to be apart. Sending lots of love your way bro, let’s start counting down the days and your fam will be here before you know it 💙

Brooo!!! Appreciate you sharing. Being married you will be faced with a lot of challenges along the way. It isn't always happily ever after. Inshaallah make doa for Allah to make it easy for you. 'With hardship comes ease' . Having a wife is a blessing already. You are a married man now bro!!! Inshaallah it won't be a bumpy ride as you are Australian citizen and she married an Australian. Just need the marriage certificate. I'm not really sure how the visa works but if she marries you it should be easy. Don't worry bro it's going to work out in the end. Just need to be patient.

True respect posting this. Myself and my partner live 8500km a part. Now engaged, but ever day a part is a proper struggle, I’ve never been so happy but also filled with so much pain at the same time. We don’t want to be talking through our phones long term either. We just had an amazing week together in South America and got engaged but going back to the distance has been a struggle. I hope everything works out for you and can get the visa issue sorted.

Hello Saf, I just finished watching your wedding video! Congratulations once again, and thank you for sharing your heartfelt thoughts with us. I hope the visa process gets sorted out swiftly so that you two can be reunited soon. I can relate to your situation; back in the 80s, my girlfriend (now my wife) and I had a long-distance relationship between London and Singapore. It was a time without social media or email, just relying on snail mail! I used to write to her every night, eagerly awaiting the postman's arrival for her letters. If I could survive those days, I'm confident you'll manage even better. Wishing you and Fatimah all the very best!

I know the feeling very well. We started our long distance marriage 5 days after our wedding day. But somehow we still manage to enjoy the sweetness of marriage despite the opposite timezones. May it be easy for your wife to join you soon. Pray for my visa application process too 😁
