Very true, friend! I love all my cats I've had too because they are my kids and you have to trust your parenting gut sometimes. We must remember that vets, just like doctors, are really just all about business - money. They are not doing a special, free service out to help others like they were humanitarians or something. Sure, there are many vets who really care, but still remember it's first a business. And thank God your cat successfully passed the test right in the nick of time. What a horrible, needless surgery that would have been.

I lost my cat Isis recently, she was 16 years old & that time came, but she didn't make it to her appointment, she passed in my arms while I was holding her, the day before. So I understand how you feel. The way our cats make us feel right?

My wife and I also have 4 cats! Your cat Angelo, is literally like my cat Theo. Theo is a warrior and with the help of outsourcing medication (have to here in Canada) we were able to save Theo. Truth is, *ALL* male cats can develop urinary blockages. The exact same thing happened to my boy Jax a few months ago. This blockage with Jax happened shortly after dealing with Theo's sickness and I know exactly how you felt. People who know, know. We were super thankful that Jax pulled through and since then, we have put both the boys on the prescription food so their urine's PH is balanced so they (the boys) don't develop blockages in their urinary tract. Kudos to you sir for sharing your story.

I live with my sister, mother, and half brother where this past April 27th was my birthday and something terrible happened that will stick with me for the rest of my life. I'm not big on my birthday and not much on celebrating it however this year my mom, sister, and half brother thought to do something nice for me this year and cook a birthday dinner. As soon as I walked in the house (I live in the studio in the backyard) my sisters two year old cat dropped dead on the floor. I don't care about my birthday but to my sister and I that will also be the day when her cat died.

same thing happened to my cat 3 weeks ago. I couldn't afford the surgery. They wanted to charge me 13k so I had to put him down. was awful to make that decision

Many of the men on my mothers side of my family have passed away from cancer and my grandfather is currently battling both lung and liver cancer. To echo what you said, frequent screenings save lives! I've only been able to enjoy extra time I've had with my grandfather because his cancer was found early. I'm also glad to hear Angelo is okay! My wife and I are similar in that we have cats instead of kids. Sadly, on Christmas eve of last year, my wife lost her cat who passed away from natural causes at 21 years old and 4 months later, I lost my cat, who looked almost exactly like Angelo, to cancer. Both losses were devastating and to lose both so close together almost broke us. We've since been blessed with 2 wonderful kittens who have made life so much better. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!

I’ve been doing bloodwork yearly since I turned 40. Hit 45 in Dec and this next trip I guess I get to get closer to the doctor and get the finger in the booty. Also have got slack on taking care of myself and eating too much junk and driving too much soda. Strayed simple with push ups and cardio and will work my way back in the gym. I typically stay around 16.5% body fat but have creeped up to 17.8

I am so glad your cat is ok. I also have 5 cats. We have spent over $1000 on one or two to keep them healthy. They were worth it to us. We got pet medical insurance for them and it does help a lot.

It's awesome that everything worked out with your cat, I dealt with the same issue 8 years ago with one we just had to put down due to age. The relief when he was better was almost overwhelming. Also, I'm going to be a bit blunt, but give honest feedback. The ending monologue seems way more like it's about satisfying your own frustrations than about helping people. No one is going to listen when you call people idiots, especially if they feel justified in their reasoning. There is good reason to distrust the medical industry... does that mean people should avoid it and throw the baby out with the bathwater? Definitely not. Will calling them stupid for having real concerns do anything to convince them that some parts of the medical industry are good? Also, definitely not. Ironically, the very problem you're frustrated by becomes compounded in the lives of those who you've alienated. If your goal was satisfying your frustrations, then I hope that monologue helped. If your goal was about helping to open others' eyes as I think was the intention, it might be best to reconsider the approach. You don't have the same personal relationship with your viewers that you do with your family and closest friends. You likely wouldn't react well to a stranger or even an actor from your favorite tv show calling you an idiot for something you feel justified in doing.

Wow, this... your best video... maybe of all time. Where to begin. Real men are cat guys. I have two orange tabbies. I'm not a real man, I just pretend I'm a real man. Cats turn you into a better person. Last year I took your advice to get the colon cancer screening, I did the poop in the box test. It came back positive but those apparently have a lot of false positives. My doctor over there at Wellstar told me afterwards to get a colonoscopy but insurance only pays for one of those a year so I'll get the test I should have gotten from the beginning . Birds at construction sites... pretty common, especially this time of year. I had a bird get into my garage and pooped on this furniture project I was working on. It's good to remind us every once in a while that there's more to you and your life than ball powder and money bags.
