Music is amazing, if you play an instrument well it will help a lot. If you enjoy analysing songs like the rhythm, Melodie, harmony etc you would enjoy it! you learn quite a lot key words but it's a breath of fresh air from the suffocating subjects like maths. you have to write ur own composition too. The written assessment is doing an essay which is comparing pieces you will study, (not hard at all, its quite fun). You have to play an instrument including voice. on instrument, you should get grade 4 abrsm for a grade above 4 or 5. P.E is learning about the heart, blood muscles etc. and you do physical. that can only boost your grade so if you do amazing in theory and do bad in physical you won't get a lower grade because of the physical.it can only boost ur grade from what I heard. I took music and have done the course for 2 years, I'm in year 10 btw. we choose options in year 8 at my school. I didn't take p.e though.
