I am okay thank you😊 it is but (hopefully) soon I’ll be able to set up my business again and plan to visit the UK (once I get my travel authorisation) a lot🖤

Wow this is a big change! Personally I would have made him move to the uk as American is so dangerous, the healthcare is awful and they really fucking hate women. But you do you. I just hope that if anything goes wrong you can get back to the uk easily enough! I also hope your husband treats you well. I’m always very concerned about these ‘I met them online and then uprooted my whole life to be with them’ thing. So much can go wrong and you are so young.

Yes it is a big change. We’ve known each other for a very long time and have been back and forth visiting each other (in the US and UK) for years so no need to worry!🖤

Awe congrats on your marriage and welcome to America! I married a now retired soldier almost 40 years ago at the courthouse in Savannah ga after moving there from d.c. and that was a huge culture shock! 😳 so I can imagine you are adjusting all the time to something new constantly! I’ve been to England and it was probably the most fabulous month of my life! ❤ I also lived in Germany when my husband was stationed there and the adjustment to a new country was really humbling and scary but what a great time! You will be driving before you know it but yes 🙌 Europe is so much more pedestrian and travel friendly! We are so far behind in transport here… hope you make it to New Orleans! It’s a really special area and I know you’ll love ❤️ it! Your style is so unique and you will inspire and charm new friends and strangers as you make your way thru this crazy 🤪 country! There is so much of it and the thrifting is fantastic! ❤❤❤ sending welcoming warmth from Florida!

I moved from Hawaii to Pennsylvania many years ago and I remember having to get used to many things. Surprisingly, besides the weather, it was a huge adjustment for me but after 24 years, I'm finally used to it. Much love to you and I'm so excited for your new chapter in life!

Interesting that the Americans recommend British suppliers, maybe worth exploring deals with your old suppliers maybe 🤷‍♀️ Perhaps vlogging decorating your new home or upcycling for your new home so you can cover of the gothic content until you’re able to get back to work. 🤷‍♀️

@@simply_spooky I'm not sure yet. I would love to move somewhere where there are more Goths, and shops that carry Goth clothing, etc. I've seen some really amazing shops in videos there, and nothing like I've found where I live. I don't know any Goths, and haven't met any ever. I've always felt drawn to your old home land, and feel like it possibly would be a fun and fulfilling place to live :)

Spooky, Welcome to the USA. In Ohio at Dayton their is the US airfare museum It very large you could not see it all in two days (it really is world class) if you like looking at aircraft.

While I also agree on the "scene talk", sadly as a well traveled Yank viewer that has flown all over North America several times in my life, it is not really on the "pop culture radar" over the years. It's mostly a personal thing very much so spread out. Europe, with its many Goth/Alternative/Industrial/EDM festivals seems to attract a lot more darkly-inclined individuals to my eyes. But alas there's also several pockets here in North America, so I could be somewhat wrong on other Goth subculture elements.🤔Who all fully knows?🦇🖤🦇🕸🦇

Difficult not to be able to drive, even just to go food shopping. Health insurance and not having the NHS freaks me out. I wish you an easy settling in. I think each state is very different so it will be good to see others. I love visiting but wouldn’t know where I would want to settle. I video call my mum at the same time everyday like my breakfast and her lunch time. It might be best to ask other business owners about what you need. It’s amazing about the suppliers and metal cutters, I thought there would be plenty too, but if you think about it I guess it would be all China 🤷🏻‍♀️ Vlogs to the Gothic alternative shops and the flea markets would be great.

Luckily as I’m in a city I can walk to a bunch of places (supermarket, bank etc) but I should be able to drive soon. Yeah I’m trying to figure out the health insurance as it seems confusing😅 thanks so much! Definitely! I’ll have to keep looking for suppliers or maybe just stick with my ones from the UK🖤

Ohio cities very different then other city states like NYC and Philadelphia resort towns and cities very different local living or non tourists areas. Public Transportation sucks outside major cities thank the gods for Uber and lift and taxi's. By the way welcome to America and congratulations on your marriage.

And I love your make-up in this video ❤ a funny fact that I wanna say is that my mum was considering moving between either US or the UK back in the 90s and she choose the UK because she can't drive 😂 and she still can't drive until today. And it's the same for me, I feel like I don't require driving ability in the UK. But I hope you enjoy the life in the US, if you like going to metal gigs and festivals, there's so many great festivals in the US imo

I didn’t have any families just one two friends so it wasn’t too hard so it must’ve been hard for you. Still got your lamp loving it. I’ve heard New York was going a bit downhill but I’ve been on holiday there a few years ago and it was really fun😊 But I moved to Ohio as that’s where my husband lives

Also as soon as you start earning money open a bank account he doesn’t know about and save some in there. That way if he gets violent or it all goes tits up, you can buy a plane ticket home!
