I feel the same way! I’m taking a bunch of classes as a hs senior, but I thought I would still have free time. In psych, which I also enjoy, we learned that overconfidence can cloud our judgement, especially when it comes to time management. Also, your videos have helped me so much with the college app process. You’re amazing!

im a first year uni student in the uk, and its so interesting finding out how your first block of online learning went! I thought that uni would be a lot easier than it was too, and even four months?? or so in its still difficult to adjust, and i hope as time goes on that you get your true college experience, and actually get to go on campus soon!

The reason you don’t have free time is probably because of the type of classes! You said it yourself, you were studying Chem on the weekends! I just graduated as a Business Engineer in Europe at a a university that is probably comparable to Stanford workload/difficulty wise and let me tell you... the semesters with math, fysics, material studies, statistics, economics, etc. Are SO much harder than semesters where some of the courses are HR, psychology, sociology... related. It wasn’t until my masters that I had some chiller semesters course and workload wise, and believe me, I was in the library studying every weekend those first few years 🙃😬
