The pure fact of it is people are getting shitty because they like skye but shaken baby syndrome is no bloody joke they could very easily impair or kill that child. There is so much going on for him right now no wonder why he isn't sleeping! He needs to be put in some sort of routine where it is consistent and a calmb environment to setyle and put him to sleep. I said they should care enough to bring it up to her and not just sit back and watch her potentially harm her child but at the end of the day people will say what they want. I am a mum of 3 myself.. I don’t think you have had a baby before or if so, just 1. I couldn’t have a calm house if I TRIED with my twins newborns... they have 5 older siblings... so no... best little sleeping babies ever even with the chaos and noise and yelling and doors slamming and lawn mower and constant in and out of the car 10 times a day and laying next to each other whilst the other babies is crying ... so... no to quietness.
@sarahcooney67525 жыл бұрын
@@abbeydraper8037 Haha yeah rightio! I have two sets of twins! Thank you very much! And iam a single mum and midwife for iver 10 years and have a cert 3 in infant sleep training so before you make statements like that. Ok maybe a chaotic household works for you and your kids? It is definitely not the best environment to bring a newborn into i can tell you that the amount of stress an infant feels not only from mums stress and emotional hormones and anxiety but everything else going on around them leads to an anxious baby and an unsettled baby..... you have to think about....the fact they have spent 9 months invetro and than they are born they are adjusting to sound smell cool warmth opening and closing their eyes this is ALOT for a new born just adjusting to that! And makes them exhausted let alone throw everything in the midst we try to explain to new mums about a healthy happy and safe environment even at the sleep schools we teach that having older siblings doesn't mean that they have to be put right in the middle of the chaos and having that relaxtion time for a baby really does wonders for their development mentally and physically there are two forms of sleep infants go through maybe research a little about REM sleep and the best environment for a newborn to thrive. That's great you have 5 kids and you seem to think the chaos is good for your baby. Skye has one baby no siblings so it would be beneficial for her and her baby to have that nice relaxing one on one quite time. Also having baby wether be twins because like i said i had two sets! Having that down time with them be in bouncers on in swings with the lights dimed and the white noise playing does WONDERS for there development. But thanks for the reply!

To all the negative comments... what you’re witnessing is two new parents ten days after bringing their first baby home .. will it look perfect- no, but can you see how much they both love him, how supportive they are of each other? Yes.. this is what is important. They will learn as they go, each day they will learn new things about their baby and what he likes and enjoys, what soothes him, what makes him happy. Congratulations Skye and Lachy, Forest is a healthy beautiful bubba. Hope you all get some sleep, and the settling in period goes well. They’re called the kind parenting company... was known as the sleep mama program when I was reading it. My baby boy is 9 months old now and he’s always slept through and I 100% believe it’s from the help of this company. There’s videos and ebooks you can buy for every stage from pregnancy through to toddler for sleep. The company is on the Gold Coast actually. Check them out see if it’s helpful in anyway for you guys, and hopefully your entire fam can get some uninterrupted nights sleep. Xxx good luck beautiful mumma

SHAKEN BABY SYNDROME COMES TO MIND. What Is Shaken Baby Syndrome? Shaken baby syndrome is a serious brain injury caused by forcefully and violently shaking a baby. Other names for this condition include abusive head trauma, shaken impact syndrome, and whiplash shake syndrome. Shaken baby syndrome is a form of child abuse that causes severe brain damage. It can result from as little as five seconds of shaking. Babies have soft brains and weak neck muscles. They also have delicate blood vessels. Shaking a baby or young child can cause their brain to repeatedly hit the inside of the skull. This impact can trigger bruising in the brain, bleeding in the brain, and brain swelling. Other injuries may include broken bones as well as damage to the baby’s eyes, spine, and neck.

I felt like I was going to throw up towards the end when Lachy was being so rough. I don't think he would ever try to harm the baby, but my god. That is so dangerous. Please please do your research on shaken baby syndrome. It is so serious. Also, he will sleep much better/longer if he is swaddled with a beanie on his head. In a dark room. at 22:40, Lachy has a blanket over his legs, but the baby doesn't. Just does't make sense. Newborns are used to the womb, they love being warm and cozy!

Congratulations guys he's so freaking cute. How is Winston adjusting? I Know hes not a fan of other people and you had some concerns about the baby and him.

Why on earth did Lachy pretend to punch the baby? 🤯

Yeah wtf i thought i was the only one who saw that??? No one else seemed to comment on it! I think lauchy has anger issues or somthing he is a bit of a wrirdo like always talking in that creepy voice and i don't know he is just so rough with that baby!

Sarah Cooney I said the same thing! How can anyone stick up for that? He looked psychotic.
@sarahcooney67525 жыл бұрын
@@bababooey900 yeah i totally agree!! Mind you the majority agree! That that is NOT how you act with a baby let alone a 10 day old newborn! But than you get all the physco fans that are so far up skyes ass they have to look past the fact or make excuses like baby's aren't that delicate.....blah blah blah! Lets hope they don't have kids!

Sarah Cooney I know right so sad! Someone even said that “all baby’s are different” like how? Do some come out of the womb like the hulk lol these people make no sense.
