Yea I hate to say it, but she probably won't like you. If they're die hard traditional, she won't. If she's more modern, she might. But I wouldn't count on it. I hate to be so negative, cuz I LOVE love, but I'm also very realistic. My work family has been Indian for the past 5 years and I've been very exposed to the Indian culture. (I'm not saying I know it or anything, just been very exposed to, have experienced quite a bit of it.)

I get what you're saying but don't complain about underexposure for East Asians where there is finally exposure for South Asians. South and Southeast Asians get much less exposure. I am sure there are many more videos for East Asians than for us. Many times, South Asians are not even accepted as Asians. This reminds me of my Dadima. I'm half Indian and my Dad,who is Indian, is not really in touch with his culture anymore and my mum is white. but whenever I see my Dadima I always feel so safe, she will never see me as a teenager that can manage myself. instead I am her mithudi. I love her so much :))
