You know, dirty floors, laundry, and potting plants will all be there tomorrow. You have so much energy, and you just keep going like the Energizer bunny. If you’re tired, listen to your body. Go take a bath and climb into bed. Sometimes, I think Sebastian is playing you. He has a basket of tricks just for the purpose of getting things done his way. Typical male! 😂

Stephanie, you are so good with him. I can't believe how much better he is getting with holding his head up and using the right arm. No wonder you are tired. That little boy knows he is loved, that is for sure. We do want to see the plant repotting!

I hate the fact that the only way you gain muscle tone and strength is through usually getting some pain. The poor little boy will have to just be uncomfortable sometimes in order to gain the strength.🥲

Being a special needs mom is not easy but you always have a positive outlook on every tough situation. I admire that about you so much, all moms get overwhelmed- my daughters some time act out they are toddlers and I get overwhelmed also. I like that you show even the tough parts of your day the reality of it. Your doing a great job Steph

I just love you guys so much! Sebastian is the cutest guy. I LOVE his personality. When you were in the parking lot talking about your little dilemma I was doing some thinking. (I have worked in the medical field for over 30 years now. EMT, corrections medic (detention facilities), critical care transport coordinator for a trauma facility, I worked in a gym that helped people with various physical challenges, I’ve also worked as an assisted living specialist/Certified Med Tech for adults with developmental disabilities) My first thoughts were as a mom and what I did if I went shopping when my kids were younger. I had this padded seat covering to put on shopping carts, or high chairs as restaurants. I had a bunch of errands one day and my daughter started to fall asleep and her head would drop back like Sebastian’s did. My sister and I picked her up, used a purse we took to create enough padding so we could lay her in the seat and it worked. I believe I took off a hoodie I had on to block the leg holes. I can’t think of the name of it now but I used it for my last 2 kiddos. My daughter is now 14 (going on 20 something 😂 lord help me) so I need to rack my brain to remember the name and I’ll let you know. Then I started thinking with my other various hats. There has to be something out there that can be used in a shopping cart seat to assist those who need help sitting up including neck & head support. In the world we live in there has to be something and this is why inclusion is so important. I say this as a mother, a fellow special needs mom, and with my background and knowledge. More importantly as a fellow special needs mom. If you don’t mind I would love to look into this for you and help you find something that can help him sit in a shopping cart and be supported the way he needs to.

You are doing what you need to do in a situation. Love that little boy and you're a great mom!!

Been here since day 1 and what a wonderful journey it’s been watching Sebastian reach for the stars! You and Gio are awesome parents!!! I think he did great and will only get better in his own time and season :)
