This is the Second episode of our road trip to Nepal. In this video, I covered the documentation that needs to be taken care while entering Nepal. We visited Lumbini, birth place of Buddha and travelled to Pokhara. Roads to Pokhara are not good but driving was fun.

I heard from other sources that owner of car should be there while taking permit and we can’t take other cars or company provided car - CLV which will be on company name. Please suggest

How are the roads within nepal ?

Roads are good and in some places it's not great but manageable. It's curvy roads mostly everywhere 🙂

I'm planning to visit Nepal by road on my car from Nagpur. What are the documents i need to get ahead and whether the driving licence issued by RTO Nagpur is valid in Nepal to drive. I could understand from your video that one is Vehicle permit and second is road tax. What other documentation & formalities particular regarding driving in Nepal. Please provide if possible

Vechile and road permit are only required. You need to carry driving license and RC to get the permit. Permit are done only for 7 days, you need to update again after 7 days.
