Honestly the person I am isn’t the person I would like to be but what’s most different is that I can’t change I want to go to a higher level in my faith and become sanctified and just start living more for Jesus each day but I just don’t see change and that’s the hardest thing for me when I just reflect each day in my prayer time and all of me wants change but I just don’t see myself changing bc of the distractions of this world and my inability to just slow down and follow the WAY and join the yoke of Jesus

🙏Hi @Walker Martin! Thank you for sharing with us. I just wanted to encourage you to keep praying. Do not feel the pressure to change immediately, because change happens overtime. You might not feel like you’ve changed yet but if you stay consistent in seeking Jesus, he will change you. Remember Jesus said “seek and you shall find”. The devil will try to convince you that you are never going to be able to be closer to Jesus. But this is not true. God is always with you. He’s never left you and will never forsake you. We’ll pray for you too🙌 “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Satan puts those thoughts in your head. Cast your cares on God, forgive everyone for any wrongs (because you deserve to be free of it… the pain…give it to him to collect on that debt) pray for forgiveness and let it all go.. you will find peace… However you will be under spiritual attacks as Satan will do everything he can to shake your faith.. He uses your mind and your thoughts emotions against you. Next time you are sad or angry or discouraged say aloud… I belong to Jesus…Satan get out of my head in the Holy name of Jesus I bind you and cast you out of my life! You may have to cast him out many many many times but he and all his negative emotions will leave you. He torments us with our fears and weaknesses.. he puts lies in our minds

Earlier today I thought in my heart, and then said out loud - "I'm tired of this life". And it wasn't coming from a desire for self-harm or suicide or even to end it all, but a desire for change... This sermon came up in my feed later on and it was The Spirit groaning in the words that I could not, in those earlier moments, properly describe. We can really be well-intentioned and just be so wrong about the "how" that we end up frustrating ourselves and the move of God in us and through us. Thank you Pastor Craig for this Word that was perfect in the "how" of its delivery and right on time for a wretched saved-sinner like me. God continue to bless the ministry that He has birthed and is working through Life Church and your leadership 🙏🏽

Last night I had this question in mind. I have been feeling stuck and depressed lately. I'm unemployed, I sometimes feel that things never work out well for me. This convicted me so much and it broke my heart. I'm trusting in God this season, it's not easy but I have to.

Thanks you pastor cray. I battle with my faith, and the works almost everyday. I am always feeling that God cannot love me bc of the sins that ik I have committed. And it brings me so much guilt, I realize now that sin only pulls me away from God. God does not call me by my sin, he calls me by my name ❤🙏🏼THERE IS A WAY

The Lord told me this these past few days (Matthew 11:28-30) and the topic of the sermon, I told him those exact words! “I don’t like whom I’m becoming”. I’m tired of working and being busy as a pastor and I can’t be a mother and a wife, I avoid being stress at all costs but I don’t like who I’m becoming ... “come to Jesus and find rest for your soul” I needed this. 😔 Thank you Jesus! 🔥

Thank you for this. Every day I get up I'm seeking God I'm praying I'm worshipping Him and I feel like I'm doing everything right and yet I'm always in combat mode fighting through this world. I'm trying so hard but I cry and cry I still pray and some days are better then others but then the devil gets in my ear and says it's not gonna last. And it gets worse. I get over one thing and then boom one thing else goes wrong. I'm always fighting something. 😢

Man this message is exactly what I have been feeling. I feel just like pastor said how he used to be lighter, happier, full of life. After my momma passed away 2 years ago my life changed and since then I don't smile as much, I feel weighed down. Just not as happy go lucky. Thank you Lord for bringing me to this video.

I have been at this point for years now where I think "what's the point of Christianity when nothing is working and despite trying to avoid doing things a dishonest way, things get harder?" I am angry at God as I see him giving to others things I have begged Him for for years. I still talk to Him because I know He hears even though He does not answer. I am sick and tired of being sick and tired.

Friend, I feel you. I found myself at a similar point for a few years and just now it seems like dawn is breaking on a very long night and dry season. All I can say is what is true though it hurt and irritated me at those moments where it seemed like God was furthest: hold on. God hasn't let you go, He does care and He is doing something in spite of it seeming like nothing is working. In the meantime your job is to stoke the love you had for Jesus at first and keep praying and keep seeking Him. You are precisely in the right place if you're among believers whose faith can feed yours. Also learn to let go of your expectations of God, so He can show you new ones. I came back to a verse recently in Joshua 1 that the Holy Spirit had showed me a long time ago and I realised that the meaning had changed because I stopped trying to get God to "work" for me like He did before. And there was so much comfort, strength and joy in that realisation that I was going to discover God differently as I wrestled through this season. Keep wrestling. He will transform you. He is transforming you.

OMG this is amazing. I have been fasting and praying for a while now and for the past 4 to 5 dayd i have been feeling a littke deeplited and down. And last night was the highlight I failed to even finish a chapter i was reading. But in my spirit this morning I knew and felt like i eant more of Jesus. Like something is missing then I watched a tiktok talking about how we never acknowledge how following christ can actually affect us and why we never talk about dealing with that change and how to maintain it without feeling like we are tiring away. And that’s when i decided to come online and listen to a preacher. How amazing that the spirit actually led me to this particular one. Thank you Life church God Bless you always. Pray for me to not tire but seek God always and never loose sight of his grace and goodness in my life. May all my distractions loose authority over my life.❤️

this was a year ago and Jesus knew i would be sitting where i am tonight..and everything he said about thinking God does hear our pray..i know now that this was meant for me tonight..because i said to God..even if you hear my prayer.and then it was right in front of me..the pasture said..he doesnt know who this is for ..but now i know..father sees everything and knows exactly when we need confirmation.Amen

Thanks so much pastor for showing us all your hurt and heart. It takes strength and love for others to be so open and relational with us.
