I ran into Steve at the Best Buy in San Rafael California two years. I had to stop him as he walked by to thank him for his music, and to tell him his voice was magic, and the #1 voice of all lead singers from the 70's to then. He was a complete gentleman and put both hands over his heart and thanked me. Not only a great singer/performer, but a class act as a human. Thank you Steve!

Yes you are totally correct, he does have a daughter and I heard that interview myself on KZfaq but he didn't really overly go in depth and detail about her as he was trying to keep her more private and not people being in their personal business which was actually really cool of Steve to do and protective as well. Furthermore even though I like watching a lot of these I do find that the gentleman that puts them out doesn't always get all of his facts correct but bless him for trying anyway :-) I'm glad you left the comment you did for possibly anyone that didn't know that he in fact did have a child so a big thank you for that one and I would sure like to ask the person that does these, why on every male rock artist like Steve Perry or Robert plant or Steven Tyler with them is always pictured a beyond gorgeous woman and I'm not saying that none of them have never had them in their day but these models that they put in the pictures aren't who they're with at all

I met this beautiful man at Disneyland! He is so nice! We hung out for about 30 minutes. He asked me tons of questions about myself n answered everything I asked him. So grateful for that day.

@@chellel5112 No. It was back in the mid 80s! He actually goes there quite frequently. He had taken some of his relatives who were in town for a funeral. It was in front of Star Tours!

@@BobbieXxoo Well Bubbles, being young and BEAUTIFUL as it looks like you are and were based on you're pic, I'm sure that helped your cause getting 30 minutes of his time at Disney. Not sure he's spending 30 minutes with a guy that appears to be threatening 🤔 Just my outside opinion, but I have never met him in a public setting ESPECIALLY in the prime of his career. Everything I have seen and heard he's pretty cool in public, kind and professional I think is best put. He's smart, he knows cameras are rolling at all times. He knows how to treat people which is VERY appreciated as a huge fan of his and Journey. He seems confident, at times cocky but also VERY humble at the same time. He DESERVES so much better than 76 on the top 100 all time voices. What a JOKE 😤 If the fans voted I think he'd make the top 10 EASY 😉

My Dad had a trucking company ReBanda transportation that hauled Journeys equipment around for years, had the pleasure of meeting Steve a few times. A wonderful soul is all I will say.

His voice along with the pation he includes in every song. Makes him #1 on my list and in my heart. The song Open Arms was the song that perfectly described the relationship between my husband and I. It was "our song". We were going to make it our first dance on our 40th wedding anniversary. We planned to renew our vows. Unfortunately the only true love of my life passed before we could. I listen to Journey constantly. Pulling out old records. I hope he continues his solo career. His voice is as strong and emotional as ever. His fans seem to be continuous. I'm 58 surviving a brain aneurysm no one thought I could. Even the surgeon gave me a 50/50 chance. Meeting him is at the top of my bucket list. It's a crazy idea that will never happen. It's great to think about anyway. All the best to him for a long uncomparable life of song. He's a star in the sky we love to admire.

Steve is like my second dad. If he's really got it like that, I say good for him! The man has given so much to change the face of music as we know it, as well as carve his own unique groove within it for decades/centuries to come. The man has written the soundtrack to all of our lives. His musical prowess and musicianship is second to NONE! Plus, I happen to know people that have met him and I've heard them say that he's a helluva nice guy. As far as I'm concerned, he deserves the best this life can give him.

I agree with the "nice guy" description. He was so gracious and praised Arnel Paneta for his voice and for infusing new life into Journey. He could have acted all jealous and ignored Arnel's contribution to Journey but he did the opposite! Great guy!

Wow! Steve is the same age as my mom. A singer who has a magical voice , also, is Jodi Benson. She's mostly known as the voice of Ariel in Disney's - The Little Mermaid. Jodi Benson has been performing the song, "Part of Your World" for over 30 years. She guards her voice carefully by eating very healthy. Only drinking water, no coffee, no sodas, no alcohol. Her voice quality is just as beautiful as it was over 30 years ago. Jodi has been married for over 20 years. She was almost afraid to have children as it definitely changes a womans singing voice. She had 2 babies, had to work at getting her voice back up in quality. She sings so beautiful! As a side benefit of her very healthy life habits, she still is so beautiful, has a youthful glow She has made many appearances at birthday parties, wedding receptions, Disney Con. She sings at special events because she loves sharing her vocal ability, no money involved. I don't know if Steve Perry has guarded his vocal abilities or not. Such a great voice!

Steve is so beautiful with the silvery 'silver fox' hair, your voice is still so soft and angelic, I could listen to you talk for days, months , years.. I can listen to you sing forever, everything about you is perfect , gentle and kind, beautiful, God's most perfect man! 1:54 most beautiful body in faded jeans too!

The Mustang shown at the 9:27 mark is not a Shelby. There were no Shelbys built on the Fox Body platform which ran from 1979 through 1993. And yes, Steve Perry is an amazing singer..
