It's always so interesting for me to see the BankManager installed in a big 48v house system. On boats everything is so cramped it's hard to see what's going on. You did a great install. One suggestion I have for you is set the min POC menu setting to wherever you want your Li to stop being used at. Say 15% Once the BankManager sees you have discharged your Li to that point it will disconnect the li and you will be running on lead. With your install that will quickly lower your voltage and start your generator which will, of course, raise the voltage and cause the BankManager to reconnect your Li for charging. I think I heard your generator start up when you entered the menu as that does much the same thing. Again, great install and thanks for making the video.

What are the chances that future versions will have a low temp cutoff feature for cheap batteries like mine. Seems like a simple addition and it would allow people to buy cheaper batteries that still have high quality cells.

I'd say 100 percent. I have that part of the Gen3 working fine. It's not as good as having the BMS just shut down the charging as I can only turn the li contactor off but in your case you go to lead as before your upgrade so your generator runs more often but your Li isn't destroyed.
