It's really sad that the society reduces our identity and value to our reproductive abilities. That's the reason we feel scared about such diagnosis. At the end of the day, much like you said, it's just one part of your life and it's not something you had a say in. But our conditioning makes us question our worth and makes us feel like we're somehow less lovable now. I'm super glad to see that you've emerged from those thoughts and decided that no matter how life takes you forward, you're going to be happy. It also makes me feel sure that you won't let yourself feel pressured to "settle for less" or "compromise" on your life and its decisions just because of a diagnosis. You're are great ma'am!!! And an understanding parent too. But not all are like that. My husband's cousin, she had enough because of not having a child. But, Thank God now she's pregnant after 11 years.. I'm really happy for her. There are many parents even now who talk ill about their daughters in law who cannot give birth..

I am so happy to read this❤I understand that motherhood is beautiful but it should not be imposed. Raising a life is no joke. I appreciate your thoughts. Modernisation is just not by clothes but by mindset. Hope u inspire many parents ❤❤

Thank you all for your appreciation for my comment. Interestingly as a young adult I also took time to conceive. Though I got all help and no taunts or any such thing, I had another problem… too many different kinds of advice!! That was stressful - having to change doctors and more. Finally my husbands older colleague - to whom he confided - told him… See in these matters let your wife go to the doctor she likes. Don’t let others interfere: And - I managed that! So i understood the stresses well

In reality, not only women face infertility but men do too. I’m this case it was the female but there are also many cases where the man has the issue but our society is such that it always blames the woman. That attitude also needs to change.

@@naveebudwal1762 I am not saying people shouldn't go for such treatments but it is not an easy process as they claim to be. There are many who have shared their experiences which are quite alarming.

It is people's choice If they want their own biological children then what is wrong in it.

It is not a easy process.. That is what she is trying to tell.. It drains you physically, financially and emotionally too.. And everyone don't get baby in the end in ivf
