Hello there, there was no additives used, however i replace the water every 6 months, although there really isn't a rule to follow. I fill up during summer and empty half during cold winters due to water freezing and expanding.

No issues thus far, this hoop is great for the price and for someone who is beginner to intermediate. Yes, i recommend. Look for it at Walmart, which is cheaper then other sites.

Hi there, there 5 different point of elevation. If you are going up in 6 inch increment, then the second highest point is 9.3 feet high.

The telescoping pole adjusts the rim height from 7.5 to 10 feet in 6-inch increments. Unfortunately not 9ft, 2inch. It goes in 6 inch increments, so it can be 9ft 3inch.

Not recommended to hang, you can dunk but not hand on the rim. The base is not mean to hold you up.

Hi, i actually use water. It is much easier to use, remove and refill once again. It also makes it easier to move the hoop.

Hi, are you referring to the backboard brackets? The two long metal pieces that bend in the middle that forms a Y shape in the back of the backboard? If yes, it is about 22.6 inch in length.

This hoop withstand dunks, however you may need to add weight resistance to the base equal to your weight, otherwise it will tilt forward.

@@Abdul-zx3le yes, you can do that. However, keep in mind that you must maintain the bottom base with heavy weight to avoid tilting. You can add water and also add sandbags on top for more weights.

It came with three poles one inside the one in the one that’s inside. The one it’s got the smaller opening. Does that go on the top because the openings for the other ones are just about the same size so the one does not fit inside the other, the other one, I’m just kind of confused

I have this hoop in my front yard. It’s okay but the thing I don’t like about the hoop is that the rim is stiff when i shoot long shots and close shots but layups are easy. It’s harder to shoot for me cause the rim is too stiff but i be dunking on it a little bit but not too hard i just dunk on it with a little force but it’s still ok to me. I have 2 hoops in my backyard a 54 inch and a 60 inch by Spalding. I had the 54 inch about 4 years and the 60 inch for a year.
