Yes just like cars and anything else people buy them on rent-to-own terms and if they fail to make their payments it gets REPOED.
I understand people fall on hard times and that sucks but it all comes down to responsibly,
If you can't pay you can always voluntarily return the it.

The shed renters who play games and obstruct recovery of the buildings need to taught a valuable lesson. I have a lot of long line helicopter flight experience and it would be so fun to fly a shed out of someone's property who is playing games and refusing access to the building. A spreader bar setup for lifting big heat exchangers on to the roof of buildings would be perfect for sheds. I would love to see the look on the face if the person as the shed is flown off of their property.

Are you glad to be out of this type of work? seems like this was a long long day and some disappointing. Could be some of the people moved the sheds to another property in order to prevent them from being reclaimed by the rental company. You and your wife were always professional on these jobs, and some I would consider dangerous due to the type of people you encounter.

Trucks drivers aren't making any money now since biden ruined the economy. That semi in that yard is probably used for parts. I know all this because my husband owns his own truck and we are struggling with fuel, freight rates and maintenance. We are barely making it.

You are a great witness ! Too many people of faith go around too scared to share . I was blessed many years ago with a close encounter with the holy spirit as I was of weak faith and God showed me . A decent car trailer, jeep jacks hydraulic jack and a lot of wood or concrete blocks and a whole lot of sweat and hope you don't get caught by any popo when you're hauling it to wherever

I would hope the RTO companies pay you well for your time. Myself I don't think I could stand on someone's porch arguing rental contract rules that don't have anything to do with me unless I was getting paid well to do the RTO companies business. Repo ing property is hard enough as it is eh.

What happens when you go to repo a shed and find it's in the middle of being converted into a tiny home, with plumbing and\or electric hooked up, perhaps even insulated and sheetrocked? Do you just cut the pipes and the electric and take it anyway?

We’re looking into a shed to turn into a cabin but I hear so much about them being repossessed and it scares me. Obviously if you don’t pay they’ll be taken but what causes people to go so far as to get their shed repossessed. Idk if I’m explaining myself. Like why do they stop paying, just because, loss of job? I want to know what happened to jet it get that far so I won’t let that happy to us. Ya know 🙃

I have a question, I’m renting a shed and making my payments on time every time, when I pay this thing off is there like a title or any kind of proof I will get that I now own it? I tried asking the salesman but never got an answer. They also never told me it was rto, they kept referring to it as financed, little difference but a much higher interest.

There's no deed, if that's what you mean. You should get a 'paid in full' or 'balance $0' or whatever. That and your contract are your proof of purchase.

@@cm5838 Yeah, that would be some drama, and not a nice situation at all, so hopefully that never happens. I've purchased a couple, but paid cash and keep the receipts with the serial numbers in my safe. (Not sure all of them have serial numbers, but the Graceland ones I've owned all do) Never had anything like that come up, and wouldn't expect it if you pay your bills on time. Ironically, the two I most recently purchased were both repo units. Sometimes you can get a pretty good deal that way. 😁

@@cdub I think this company is called outback buildings, not the best quality but workable. We are thinking about getting a 16x42 and turning it into a small house, but it will be set on an engineered basement foundation with tie downs. They had a repo one that they were asking 10k for but found out there was fentanyl in it so it was destroyed instead. I’d build it myself except with Arkansas weather it’s easier to place an already dried in building then finish it out.

@@TheBeer4me As a workshop or tiny house the cost is pretty reasonable since the big work is doen on either project and they are ready to add on the finishing touches. There's a guy who does videos on here and $15,000 seems to be the higher end.

They're extremely expensive if you RTO them. Usually more than 2x what they're actually worth, and I've seen some approaching 3x. The monthly payments aren't that high, if that's what you mean. But yeah, the total cost if not paid in cash up front is terrible.

What does that even mean? They cost as much as a used car, so not surprising the owner would want it back if the lessee stops payment. Especially if you have rented 100 of them out the money adds up fast

why don't you carry any protection from dogs attacks?.. (human attacks I know you could handle, but when you have a vicious dog after you, that's a whole diff ball game).. an air horn works very well with fending off a dog attack without any harm to either of you..

watched a new guy's shed hauling video tonight thats got you and several other youtubers tagged in the description.. if He's what the shed haulers industry has to Replace you their screwed.. he's obviously new to the business and has a lot he needs to learn.. i'm sure you know who i'm speaking of so I won't name him.. He might want to stick with his day job cause he's not gonna make it in your industry.. MY OPINION..
