About the complimentary tickets, how do you get them? do you have to work a certain amount of hours?? Thaaanks
@riss_papa5 жыл бұрын
Yes! Once you work 150 hours you get 3 comp tickets. They take about 2 weeks to be added to your account which stinks but they’ll come eventually! And you get 3 more at 300 hours

I just found your channel from this video and subscribed. You are so pretty! Thank you for mentioning how visiting with friends and family works when they come to visit because I was wondering the same thing and hadn't heard anyone talk about it. My program starts in August and I can't wait! This video was so helpful!

I was walked off of Splash Mountain at DL once. I remember being excited when I heard the announcement to stay seated because a cast member was on the way. Took photos while standing near the first drop

That is sooo cool that you worked at spaceship earth! My dream job is to work at Soarin! I’ve seen cast members holding white pieces of paper while walking to their next position. What is on the paper?
@riss_papa3 жыл бұрын
it’s the rotation sheet! basically it tells you where to go next and you give it to the next person and it tells them where to go & so on :)

thank you for the video it was super helpful. i have a few questions. How many hours can you work, could you just pick up as many shifts as you want or can you only work a set amount of hours? Can you walk to the parks from the apartment complex or is it a long walk? how much is the cast member discount? also if you could maybe explain more about the casting and check in. thank you love your channel
@riss_papa4 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for watching!! And you're allowed to pick up as many shifts as you'd like, but depending on the season and location, you'll have to get leader approval to go over 40 hours. Unfortunately, you won't be able to walk to any parks from the apartments. Each park is 15+ minutes away from the apartments by car. Cast member discount ranges between 20% and 40% depending on where you use it! There's a guide that tells you discounts at different places on The Hub (the cast member website with everything you need to know once you start). If you'd like to know more about check-in and casting I have a whole video dedicated to that day here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nLSedauet5uRhJ8.html Its basically just the day you can first enter your apartment and move all of your things in and meet your roommates. Casting is just a fancy way of saying you go to a building to fill out all the paperwork and forms so you can legally work there. So make sure you have an ID and social security card or passport. Simple as that! The next few days are spent getting adjusted and waiting for Traditions. After Traditions, you'll get park access and begin your training. Hope this helped!

Just wondering, would I be able to take a mini fridge there so everyone doesn’t have to share one single fridge?
@riss_papa4 жыл бұрын
I'm pretty sure they allow one mini fridge in each apartment, but you'd have to provide that yourself! Just double check with housing. They're usually good at responding to emails

Roughly how many days a week did you work? On the days you didn’t work, were you allowed to go to the parks?
@riss_papa4 жыл бұрын
5 or 6 on average!! Yes of course! You can also go to the parks before and after your shifts if you feel like it. The only time you can’t go to a park is if you call out sick from work because then they’ll know you’re lying and you can get termed!
@jennypaulie83964 жыл бұрын

On the dcp facebook group for that program! If you search fall or spring of whatever year you’re going, you’ll find a page that you can join even before you get accepted!

In the beginning of the program when you had trouble answering people’s questions how did you respond to them?

i’d ask a cast member nearby if they knew! you definitely don’t want to give a guest the wrong answer!! you’ll learn very quickly just by asking fellow cast members

Thank you for this video! It has really helped a lot. I had a quick question about rooming at 21 years old. Did you room with other girls overage and did you have any problems with that (drinking, etc.)?
@riss_papa4 жыл бұрын
No we never had an issue with it because all of my roommates were also 21+. Not sure if the rules differ if you have younger roommates. I’m sure it’ll tell you everything you need to know in your program guide that you get at check in :)

Love your vids 😩 how does the rent work? Is the rent more for rooms w more people or rooms with less people?
@riss_papa5 жыл бұрын
The more people you live with, the cheaper your rent is! It’s also different among the complexes. The Commons is most expensive and Vista is least expensive

Were you able to have any holidays off or did you have to use a sick days to take off for holidays?
@riss_papa4 жыл бұрын
You’d have to request them in advance, but holidays usually have waiting lists. You can always call out or give away your shift. But if you call out you can’t go to a park
@debragray3844 жыл бұрын
If you call in to take a day off and attend an event within the park (like the starlit thing or a parade) you wouldn’t get in trouble for that right?
@riss_papa4 жыл бұрын
you can’t attend the event if you call out sick! it’s super risky to do that. better off trading your shift
@debragray3844 жыл бұрын
Marissa Papapietro oh I explained that wrong what I meant is: If you find out an event is happening in a monrh or two and then you REQUEST the day off, if they accept that can you be on the park? (not like calling in sick)

So how many days do you get to spend on the parks like not working, with friends? There’s so many pictures and videos but do you get to go often as a guest?
@riss_papa3 жыл бұрын
definitely depends on your schedule! it’s not the same for everyone. also it’s up to you if you want to squeeze in park days before and after your shifts to make the most of it. You have to make every day count!
@riss_papa3 жыл бұрын
it’s also different now because you have to make reservations at the parks so idk!! this was 2 years ago
