I agree. We did our first big family cruise last year with Carnival and I sent a link out from one of their vids to 50 or 60 of my cousins aunts and uncles that had never been on a cruise B4 and it saved us a lot of time.

I was just on Allure Dec 1 - Dec 4 and was blown away. Also Crazy Quest was 18 and older. Had a great time that I booked another cruise for next year with them

I went on Allure in 2019. What was supposed to be a 7 day ended up being a 10 day because of Hurricane Dorian. It was a beautiful ship and an amazing time.

Royal is awesome! Honestly I am not loyal to any cruise line. Each cruise line offers different amenities and unique things to get into. We cruise carnival, royal, Norwegian, celebrity, virgin. Just hop on a ship and get the fun started.. hell I’ll take any ship 😊 Great vlog, we enjoyed watching your vlog and it’s great to see you both take a plunge into the royal side.

One more comment that I forgot to mention earlier. I’ve been on Royal, NCL and Celebrity and you are 100% right none of those ships know how to give a sail away party better than Carnival! I am loyal to Royal but Carnival got them beat hands down!

We’ve done both Carnival 2X and Royal several times and we love Royal more than Carnival. For our family, Royal is just a better experience. Not saying Carnival isn’t good, it it’s just not what we like. We haven’t been to CoCo Cay, but we fell in love with Labadi, Hati…..pure tranquility!1. Thanks for sharing.

My Daughter and I was on allure for Christmas 2023. We went on my balcony and I to encounter the smell of Dope( Mary Jane). I feel that Royal works best for me because of my Daughter. My Daughter is 24 with mild Autism. And she likes that she didn’t have to walk by the casino and smell the smoke. She enjoyed Carnival but when we got on Royal she said that she preferred this Cruise line. I’m not really a cruise lover but I do it for her. We add the chat on our phones which is free on Royal. And that allows her to be more independent on the boat. She just let me know where she is going and checks in from time to time and I don’t have to follow her everywhere like I do if we flew into a resort.

Hey RVA fam! I was patiently waiting for this review and am so glad you enjoyed RC. We just got back yesterday from a vacation on the Allure. I had an amazing time on this beautiful ship. It was definitely money well spent. The first section in the Wind Jammer is always packed but there are 3 other sections with food and seating to choose from. The shows were great and I loved spending so much of my time outside in the different neighborhoods. I loved all the live music throughout the ship. I was shocked by my experience on Carnival Celebration compared to this 14 year old ship. This ship solidified my loyalty to Royal. I love your channel and will continue to explore other ships and cruise lines but RC is home.

So glad that yall had a great time! My very first cruise was just last year on oasis of the seas and I want to say you hit everything on the nose! I took my 2 kids and they absolutely loved it I feel like it’s something for everyone of every age at least on the oasis class ships. And that aqua show we were absolutely amazed! We’re going on anthem of the seas next week hoping that it’s just as good as our last experience! Can’t wait to hear your experience on the icon!!!!

Coco Cay is so great! The snorkeling is amazing. Lots of rays (many species) to snorkel with and pretty fish!

We did although due to the weather we couldn’t dock in the Bahamas, Princess Cays, or Freeport. So we stayed on the boat for 4 straight days. 2nd cruise booked for October with a much better deal and looking forward to getting off the ship the time.

Allure of the Seas was my 1st cruise & we loved it!...highly suggest spending the extra money & booking a suite!! It comes with so many upgrades & specialty eating was just like you mentioned. Room was HUGE & service was AMAZING the entire time!!

Thank you for sharing! Yeeees, Chops has the best filet 🤤 No washy washy; no yummy yummy😀 That was one of the best things about the cruise. There was one guy drumming on the sanitizer as he sung. On the last day he was in the Windjammer with several teens clapping and singing the song. It was the cutest thing and definitely memorable 🥰

Love this video. I sailed RC for the first time ever in August and loved it too. Carnival is still my first love but RC was so great. I got the next cruise deal too while I was on the ship and booked it for my birthday in 2025. I sailed the Voyager which is smaller and still thoroughly enjoyed it.

Don't forget with Royal the drink package extends to the private island. I feel like Royal is the cruise line for folks with kids that just want to relax. Not a lot of ratchet on Royal from what I saw and its normally a diverse crowd on Royal from my experience

I’ve been on 5 cruises on the sister ship, Oasis of the Seas. This review is spot on… I’ve only been in Royal Caribbean and Disney, so I can’t comment on other cruise lines, but what they said about this one is spot on.

I have traveled Royal and Carnival...I liked Royal better because it offered so much for my family...when we traveled Carnival back in the day it was so much fun for me and my husband...we stayed on the Independence of the Seas with a balcony it was much bigger than Carnival's

Me and my girls had a bad experience with their CSR but we’ve been thinking about booking the Icon of the Seas too! I want to do the inaugural but we would’ve JUST come off the Horizon. We went on our first RC cruise in December and it was on the Allure of the Seas! We usually do Carnival as well. Although we didn't get to visit its island because of rough Seas it was still a great time.

I just came back from my first ever cruise which was on Carnival Cruise Sunshine. I was so utterly disappointed. Upon first entry, I turned on the lights in the cabin and a roach ran across my bed. I give the activities a grade of D-. When I got off the ship I said to myself (and I meant it), "This is my first and last cruise." However, looking at this video, the experience on Royal Caribbean is night and day different. It's like comparing a five star restaurant to Denny's in the hood. Thank you for his fun and insightful video!

I was waiting on this video. I previously commented on one of your videos, that I went on my very first cruise on Wonder of Seas. While watching your videos of Allure of the seas, I could see the similarities of the 2 ships. I appreciate your videos because you two were part of helping me get over my fear of cruising. I totally agree that it felt like I was in a mall. I think I'm hooked now...LOL. I have been telling people I have cruised on one of the biggest ships, how can I go smaller. Thank you so much for your videos of Allure. My husband and I are celebrating our 1st year anniversary with a cruise in January on Allure. It's also both of our 1st cruise ever. Neither one of us has ever had a desire to go on a cruise until now. We're both excited and scared at the same time. My countdown clock says we have 24 days, 2 hours, 52 mins, 42 seconds. That's how excited I am. I have researched it too death, but your video has made it quite easy for me.

I went on Allure of the Seas last year and it was my first Royal Cruise too! I feel the same way you felt about Allure. I would do it again. It's a different vibe than Carnival but we had a great time. The main dining room was terrible lol. We ate there one time and never went back. Thank God I had specialty dining and we ended up picking up an extra restaurant or 2. The food at the specialty restaurants were so much better. I also enjoyed the shows. I haven't been to Coca Cay yet but I'm hopefully on my next RCL I'll get to go. But my next cruise is Carnival lol

First of all I want to say I am so glad you enjoyed your Royal Caribbean experience. You were right about the MDR food. They do have a lot of hit and miss. You are also right about Johnny Rockets it should be free. I laughed out loud when you said Guys burgers can whip a burger on the grill better than Johnny Rockets! I forgot how you word it but I laughed. I have never been at the Perfect Day at Coco Cay and I am looking forward to going there in August. I am going on the Wonders of the Seas. I’ve been on your ship before and really had a good time. I did the zip lining and my knees were knocking! Lol! The Freedom of the seas is nice too. I am totally surprised you booked the Icon of the Seas! I can’t wait to here about that one. Thank you for being open and honest.
