Found this one to be a great cigar, I do like the H99 a bit more, both great construction and draw, I paid $13 per stick, at that price it’s a winner. Well done on the review, everyone has their likings ty!

I bought this today, and then watched your video and I was like fuuuuuuck (because I love your vids, etc etc). But I actually REALLY enjoyed this. The taste was just lovely to me; smooth but full. I smoked it on day 1, so maybe over time it gets weaker.

Yeah, I definitely seem to be in the minority with my experience with this cigar. The Liga Privada is sort of a legendary cigar for a reason. I have to revisit this one and give it another shot. Really glad to hear you enjoyed it!

Maybe retrohaling would open up some flavours?

It certainly does! I always retrohale when I smoke cigars though. Not on every puff, of course, but retrohaling is essential!

Lower rh around 61-63 helps. My fave alongside the cuban TRINIDAD'S.

maybe your palate was a bit burnt out? or some allergies going on? I smoke a lot of nicaraguan maduros such as foundation, aj fernandez, oliva and this one is the most flavorful I've ever had along with the t52. these sticks are overwhelmingly flavorful, sometimes too strong of a nicotine kick also

I think this particular stick was a dud to be honest. I hadn’t smoked a cigar all week and don’t have allergies haha! But I’ve gotten a few more liga privadas and will definitely give them another shot!

The no. 9 fell off really bad towards the end. I was tasting potted plant dirt the entire way through the last 3rd. The H99 was more my speed.

I smoked an H99 with you and......yeah it's nothing memorable. I probably won't smoke it again. It was just ok.....let's get back to Cubans! Have you tried any Plasencias???
