Thanks for the review. I've been puzzling on this for some time. Makers claiming to have a Tourbillon when what they have is a displayed spring. Now I know Tourbillon vs open heart movement.

I believe the cheapest tourbillon ever, even by a Chinese microbrand is nowhere below $500+. Very complex engineering involved☝️

@@weswatches I have no idea how watch makers/designers make their decisions... I literally bought this watch on your recommendation. I had been looking for what I now know to call a heart beat. I purchased the version with the white face and brown band. I was disappointed on arrival. No second hand and butterfly clasp (I hate them with a passion.) It was headed to the useless bin but first I graphed it and wore it for a bit to see the performance. It keeps pretty good time and insanely good time for it's price. So rather than bin it I asked myself what it was going to take to "like" this watch. First thought is that butterfly clasp has got to go. Second it's got day, date and 24h time including the sun/moon dial (some people and lots of vendors like to call it moon phase but it has absolutely noting to do with the phases of the moon... just is the sun up or not...) So when am I going to wear this that I want to know the date, day, hour and minute but not the seconds? The answer is out to dinner or at a party (hopefully the party isn't bad enough I want to know the time down to the second.) Also the sun/moon dial and the heartbeat as well as there being a slight dome to the crystal kind of lend themselves to "dressed up." So a black leather band with that white dial and the rest dress it up nicely. Ya get that Tuxedo "vibe." Now it's 22mm and I don't keep much in that size around so good news/bad news. I get exactly what I want but have to wait. Redressed in black and white this is now my first choice for dress watch. Between discounts and coins the watch was around $18 US and another 4.50 in two bands (couldn't decide cow or calf...) this is by far the least expensive watch to earn a space in my autowinder. So to my original comment, who decided on a butterfly clasp and not putting a black band with the white face? To my mind those are almost automatic decisions to make differently...

I think it's best to review cheap mechanical watches that you can clean. Complications cannot be worked on. Perhaps just a date. I have bought many cheap Chinese mechanicals & main problem is short mainspring requiring extra shaking during the day or they may stop by morning. Also no oil on parts. Review some with a true 36 hours on single wind up minimum, simple, uncomplicated watches that the Russians can buy used for say $15 & clean up later on. A nice new mechanical watch that can be serviced for say $30, losing a minute a week, with longer mainspring is of great interest. Thanks.
