This will totally depend on your cart, since this is a universal part. Every cart model is different, but you will most likely either need to run the wires into a channel under your floormat or underneath your cart.

Yes agree my question is how it works in the dark which is the deciding factor and the lack of this no brainer part of the video Leeds me to believe they are not bright at all
