Sick vid as usual man, looking forward to stocking up soon. I would love to see you throw some bigger plastics like your 5 inch pron around. Also, a port of Brissy vid would sick.

Two Diamonds and a Golden in one session, and great sizes too!! I’m keen to tick off either off my bucket list. Once in a lifetime fish realistically for me though. I’ve been trying to catch just the local Silvers. Got a few undersize, but none bragable. I’m totally landbased also, which I understand makes it harder. Love the light setups you use. What are those light tippy rods in yr arsenal? They look so sick in their actions, but don’t just fold even fighting those larger fish.

Legendary mate, I've been looking closely at the retrieval technique. Is it fair to say you're letting the prawn stall on the bottom, then imitating it launching off the bottom I.e. fleeing the fish to repeat that cycle rather than just wind it in like a bibbed lure.
@holtproductionsfish Жыл бұрын
Definitely, working on a video on the 3 retrieves I use with soft plastics, you’ll notice the retrieve in this video is a bit different to the Jew fish videos

interesting you said trevs dont like the low coefficient tides. Do you know why that is?
@holtproductionsfish Жыл бұрын
I find most fish like building tides on the lead to a full or new moon, even sounding around fish seem to school on building tides and disperse on falling tides

How come the shark population is so massive in the river? Apparently they've really boomed compared to years ago... warming water maybe.
@hsolomons2570 Жыл бұрын
Hi i recently got the Swimprawns in 3” and they came with knicks in the legs, I’m worried it’ll affect the action
@holtproductionsfish Жыл бұрын
The rear of the leg loop is supposed to be detached, thats how they get their action, is this what you are talking about?
