That's the great thing about light winds and a big sail - minimal chop and a smooth ride!

when i first saw this, I was surprised about the use of the 9.5 on a 129 litre board ... looked up the xFire 129 - 228x85 and sailrange suggested is 9-10 m sails !! WOW - nice ride

Thanks! Yes, this board works pretty well with this sail. I was second time on the water with this sail so I need to trim it a little and then must be perfect :) I sometimes also use 7.9 sail on this board with 41cm fin. Works well on flat water but when the waves are a little bigger board becomes to big.

yeah - i have a JP SLW and have used it with 8.x sails - with waves it is a hand full same thing with slalom boards of 80 cm width - when not skimming chop, it becomes too much
