I'm guessing that the "giant" that took the boy did not actually mean any harm. It may have returned him to a spot where it thought someone could find the boy immediately. I love scary stories with heartwarming endings like this. Bambi the eldritch, Lucy the skinwalker, both disguised as dogs and here were with Molly - just an ordinary (read normal) dog doing extraordinary stuff. ❤ And as always, awesome job from my fave narrator. Thank you, LH! ❤

I don't know if your making a title. Or if your being serious. Personally I've had my fair share of weird creepy things. Like demonic laughter that isn't in the movies. Glowing eyes. Demonic beings. Voices. Shadows. Apparitions. Objects moving or flying across the room. I even had a fan fly into the wall an shatter into 3 pieces. I've seen the devil, well more like a demonic being. I've seen what I believe to be the right hand of God in a out of body experience. All these things were under the age of 18. My most creepy encounter was when I was 26 or 27. I was sleeping in my empty house meaning it was just me. Again I wasn't doing drugs. And I wasn't drinking alcohol. I had a vivid serious nightmare. I forget cause I mean in all honesty why even bother being affected by these things. And as I woke up. I was on my left side. I opened my eyes and their was this face staring right at me. I think it woke me up. Perhaps it was the reason for my nightmare. I'm not lying either. I'm being quite serious here. The face I barely got even a glance In and I don't recall anything about what it looked like. I'm assuming my mind did that because it probably isn't even capable of processing whatever it was, that I saw. But it sure as hell wasn't a human face. The face dropped below the edge of my bed. It was just a box spring an a mattress. So I got up to take a look. I pushed up with my left elbow and tried to sit up in bed. And then as my wrist moved past my knees I froze. I couldn't move. I will never forget this. The face reappeared and again I barely got a glance. It moved just past of my sight and I saw this body climb up onto my bed. Probably 2 feet tall. Iunno it's hard to describe. The lights were all off and the only light source was coming from the street light out side. The thing crawled up onto my pillow and it caressed my head. And pressed it's mouth to my ears. Then it began speaking. I can't really express in words what the hell this thing was even saying. To this day I have no idea. When it spoke. The best way I can even describe it is like this. The grudge sound. That ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh monotone noise. Except much much deeper and it's words were syllablized punctual and articulate. And they were backwards. I don't know if you've ever seen a ghost before. Or a shadow person before. So in the event you haven't the next best feeling I can even explain would be the free fall on a roller coaster. Which in all honesty doesn't even come close. With the ghost usually the energy leaving your body goes through your feet and it feels like it's sucked out downwards towards the floor. Yeah well with this fckn thing it was through my head. I can't even begin to express the horrible feeling this thing caused me. As it talked I tried to tell it to leave me alone. Again I'm frozen in place an unable to move. I can't even talk. I can only move my eyes. This thing begins laughing but it's fckn backwards. It's lips are hovering around my ears laughing. I have no energy. It's basically feeding off of my fear. And then I do what I can only think of. I start the whole in the name of Jesus depart from me. It laughs even harder. And I finally get the words out of my mouth. And it just laughs at me. I know exactly why it was laughing at me. That's not going to be mentioned here. It left. I know exactly how it sounds and I know it's unbelievable. But I'm not making this up. This happened to me. Now whether or not this was a direct symptom of my nightmare. That ended up resulting in a very severe case of sleep paralysis. I don't know. But if this is the case. Then the mind. If it can do that. Well 💩. Might as well have been real. I'm not lying here. I lean towards the whole experience being a dream. And not reality. However. When the thing had left I was still in the same position I was frozen in. That thing talked to me for over 1 minute. And it didn't shut up for a single moment. I have no idea what it was saying either and frankly I dont want to know. For me that was my most creepy moment in my life.

Thank you for your service, sir! I’ve been harassed by aggressive higher dimensional entities most of my life, but the I am God keeps saving me, so I’m still around to sound crazy. But, lol, I never had to sign a NDA, so I can help you out. For everyone else, there are at least 10 dimensions/densities including ours (3d). The higher the dimension, the faster the telepathic entities vibrate & speak, (and play mind games) so that we don’t perceive them, unless we increase our own vibration through prayer/meditation, helping/loving others and positive thoughts/actions. There are benign and aggressive ‘folks’. The benign ones are waiting for us to wake up and see them, so we can ask for help with free energy, housing and food solutions and stand up for ourselves against the hungry, aggressive bullies. (No big bro potions to make dogman super solders, needed. ) As for what’s out there?! Cryptids, aliens, mythical folk, angels, broken angel hybrids, ascended masters, Beings with God like abilities, Jesus, the I am God.. the Galactic Federation of light.. are all hanging around in some form or another.. which is why they won’t let us nuke things and mess with the different densities… (they’d rather do a planet reset and test out another batch, to see if we can figure out compassion under pressure.. FYI this is not our first merry go round). I could go on, but if I give too many details, my words will get censored again. So, look around at the D and L Dread channels, what lurks beneath night god for some fun rabbit hidey holes. Personally, I’m just tired of feeling like a walking cherry popsicle stick for some Liz person with an overinflated sense of his own importance when I breathe my last…. Advice: Stay out of the Mississippi River basin. (Underwater cave entrances) Ignore any sudden urges to explore or get off the main trail. Carry a big flashlight at night as Wendi (go)s will mist up and not be able to hunt for a bit. They also don’t like silver or live cams. Red tinted, mirrored, polarized sunglasses can help one see the projection of the unseen neighbors. But if you do see something, ignore it and think about something else (keeps you safer,) I made a dreamcatcher that helps, but some people won’t. You can bless the land with salt water rings and prayer to keep out evil spirits. Yeah. And. Be cheerful, but alert. Even if you don’t believe me. That’s ok. Keep your eyes open long enough and you will. Have a blessed day!

This was a marvelous story! The story telling and plotting was wonderful. And I loved the happy ending, not only for the little girl but the ranger as well. I especially like the stories with happy endings, and I wish there were more of them. The plotting of the story even made sense----a small child would be easier to "slip" back into society after a loss of 20 years. She has a family willing and able to support and protect her and eventually no one will even suspect that she was the victim of something terrible. An adult, reappearing, unchanged, after 20 years would be a world wide sensation. But a child would be easier to hide. I loved the character of Molly, and her ranger friend, and the older ranger who took such precautions to shield people from the "lost" valley. Those three characters were outstanding, so well developed that you felt close to them. This story would be a terrific beginning of a series. Outstanding story, fantastic narrating!

So I thought up a farm story for the next month or so. It’s a rules one. - If you hear voices from the apple orchard ignore them. Head towards the pumpkin patch. - If you see a pumpkin glowing leave it alone, It’s a tradition as they become jack o lanterns. Sometimes other rules require touching the pumpkins, but never take all of them. - Unless you hear an intruder in the corn maze, occasionally they stray away from the orchard. You may take a glowing pumpkin to investigate but return it. - Be very careful if you do this, because if you drop the pumpkin you’re vulnerable even if it’s not smashed. - If you do take a pumpkin and drop it, go fetch some fresh pumpkin seeds from the shed. Replant it immediately. - Place a glowing pumpkin in front of each scarecrow. Wait until it stops glowing and then carve it into a jack o lantern immediately. Make sure they always stay lit. If they go out, immediately relight or replace the candle. Always use traditional candles never use modern candles or an alternative, such as electric candles. - The glowing pumpkins will accompany you on haunted hayrides, should they be your responsibility. Before starting your hayride check the list of costumes we are using. Any costume not on the list is them. If you see them, simply pick up a pumpkin. Same with the participants, after which they’re to be put back for the next hayride. Any other rules we could add? I’ll write them down and then try and make this into a story.

I really enjoyed that. Gotta comment on spoilers so see below. I kept waiting for the dark twist at the end, but hey, sometimes the best twist is the lack of one. We need more happy endings in horror stories. I also found it interesting that the giant actually wasn't malicious. We never actually see the dangerous creatures, and the main danger is mainly the valley itself. The giant (who I assume to be Siren Head) actually seems pretty considerate, placing lost humans near the dimensional entrance like one may a bug that got stuck in their home and can't get back to safety. "Ah crud, another human got in here. Gotta be careful with these. Wish I could tell 'em there's no food here."

It itself was warped into the anomalous valley, the shift in time, space and solitude probably changed its nature entirely, with its only sense of normality to bring mercy to fellow lost rather than treat them as prey, which was why it was probably looking for the group to escort them to safety rather than hunt them, either giving up because they hid successfully, or because what i reckon, it sensed that it terrified them and decided to leave them be. 2. It is a unique guardian sort of variant, and those it spares are those who deserve mercy. Think about it-the people who were recovered/survived were kids, domestic dogs and park rangers Kids are innocent, park rangers are literally the non anomalous human version of nature's guardians so to speak and domestic dogs are just plain good bois/girls. Heck, it also got me thinking, the fact that chester showed up right after they ran from hearing siren head, makes me wonder if everything im saying Chester the old wise ranger, already knew and worked alongside the knowledge furthermore given his insistence to keep this incident off the books

What would make this story even batter. Is if they had sound in the background. That matched up with story. I hope someday someone will make a movie about siren head. That would be awesome movie.

As an avid hiker/backpacker I love the fact that so many of these stories make the woods out to be a scary place. I mean when the sun goes down, and your a day's hike away from your car, even a bird in a bush sounds 10 feet tall. But it's mostly snakes and poison plants you ahve to look out for. Luckily everyone is largely too scared to go in there, and that suits me fine when I want to be alone.

Whoa. I was not ready for this one to end so fast. I need there to be more. There’s gotta be a way to try and save the others. Also where do the sirens come from? What’s the origin story of that place and who is the giant? Is he actually a good guy that tries to help people like the little boy. I have so many questions I wanna get answers to and see play out!

I think the writer was referencing sirenhead a fictional creature related by artist Trevor Henderson. Google sirenhead and you will find tons of cool lore.

@ZMeliYTSiren head is a very aggressive predator who eats those it comes acrossed in the woods, it wouldn't leave them alone, it would hunt them, trying to lure them out in the open to devour them, this "Giant" might be something entirely different.

I love that the giants were terrifying and alien, but not bad. This very much feels like a modern take on the fae and eldritch locations, and I'm here for it. And great job narrating as always.

Last thing I expected to be doing right now is crying after a Ligjthouse Horror story. Yeah That one hit me hard. Long story short, I lost one when I was young, that I never got to meet, and learned that I'm sterile a few years later, after an injury in the accident that took them both. Lost a surrogate daigjter when she was 20, as close as sisters with my adopted daughter. I can't imagine the nightmare, 9th level of Hell, horrific , that Mr Hernandez went through. To the author, well done. And you as well Sir. A well narrated test to show me that I still have emotions that adjust fast, and still affect me. My only regret is that I can only like it once. A true 5 star job.

I fell in love with the characters and we all definitely needed the closure for Olivia and her family. Might be one of my favorite stories of urs!
