Hes no antagonist in my opinion. He should've been a party member who is more of an anti-hero who does his own thing.

Agreed! His voice is unique-sounding - I have no idea what his accent is, but it fits for a character like Cid Raines.

I really enjoyed his work in Castlevania, Tales of Phantasia and Fafner. I miss hearing the guy in anime dubs.

I always get goosebumps when I watch the scene. From the smooth gestures made be Cid to the epic music playing in the background. By any chance does anyone know the of this song. I've looked through the ff13 soundtrack and have had no luck in finding it. If anyone can tell me the name, I'd appreciate it.

Cid is one of my favorite reoccurring characters in the Final Fantasy Series, but XIII's Cid is my favorite alone VII's. I was grinning seeing Cid making a small appearance in Lightning Returns.

Who is the speaker of the dead? I meen, if that person is just another soul that is using the Cid's body, who is that person?

It's supposed to be the collective voice of everyone in the Chaos, which is essentially a Well of Souls. Or the Cosmic Force, take your pick. :P

This is late as fuck but its a "Last one" weapon. In order to get it, kill the very last enemy of its kind. And to get the Last One to appear kill that same enemy over and over again until the pink version of the enemy is here. Kill it and you get a rare item

Really late, but. . . Behemoth Last One (pink version you get after fighting a certain amount) in the Wildlands. Another sword is from the Skeleton Last One in Dead Dunes Ruins. And another great one is by fighting Caius in Etro's Temple, Wildlands. After a the cutscene with Yeul your rewarded his sword. Rewards are on the floor after a defeat. 😊
