Angelina has been writing songs since she was 10 years 0ld - So far 12 have been released: Oslo, What is Life?, Shield, Million Miles, 7th Heaven, Love Don't Let Me Go, Now I'm The Fool, Fire and Rain, All My Fault, Good in Goodbyes, Diamond, and Our Time. Angelina has stated that she has written about 100 songs that have yet to be released. Her songs are taken from her Journal writings. When she was 10/11 she rewrote the Lyrics to Amy Winehouse's Back to Black and Rehab to make them more age appropriate at that time.

I remember the show and that Angelina said she began singing when she was 1-1/2. Then I saw the video of her at 1 - 1/2 where she is laying in her mom's bed with a hand 'mic' in her hand and sang a Whitney Houston song like an adult. It doesn't get more astounding than that !

The Oslo School of Music and Arts that Angelina attended has a small studio and there are videos her grandmother shot when she had just lost her first baby tooth (late 5 years old?). Her ear for music is evident, but she is just a kid that loves to sing. About 1 year later (6, probably about to turn 7, just before she was allowed to enter NGT, judging by the state of her adult teeth beginning to pop out, willy-nilly) she did "I who have nothing" in the same studio with one of her teachers, and THAT is where we can see and hear that Angelina is something special! After she turned 8 she won NGT and a mere 2 months after turning 9 she arranged and performed the epic "I put a spell on you" video, absolutely proving that she is in a league of her own.

Quincy Jones invited her to perform (along with some legendary singers) at his 85th birthday celebration at the 02 Arena in London. Twelve year old Angelina opened the show with one of his arrangements of this song.

Her performance went viral and even the group Queen responded on Twitter by saying, " Wow, what a rendition!" She has written 3 very uplifting positive songs which are all excellent and very different. 7th HEAVEN was written toward the end of the pandemic which was a frustrating time for entertainers. DIAMOND was released this year and it a high attitude energising , very modern song. OUR TIME is another confidence building song. They are all great but Diamond is my favorite of these three. She wrote a book when she was nine years old, based in large part on her diary entries when she was six. The book was marketed as a children's book, or a picture book, but I can tell you that when I go back and reread it, it still brings me to tears. You may have noticed that Angelina was barefoot during this performance. She is virtually always barefoot when she performs in public. The story in the book tells the reason for this. The short version is that her family was in the mid-east and Angelina met a poor young shoeless girl, about her age who was working as a street vendor, weighing people to make a little money for her family. Angelina noticed scars on the girl's feet and thinking about the cold temperatures, Angelina took off her shoes and gave them to the girl. The girl said she would pray for Angelina every day and that Angelina must remember her. Great reaction! I would LOVE if you could react some more to her. Milo Manheim reacted to her 1,5 months ago, and she REALLY deserves more attention. I have been following her since she auditioned on Norway's Got Talent when she was 7, and now that she is 17 (turning 18 on January 10th) I consider her the best female singer in the world. She signed with Republic Records when she was 14, on the premise that they would hold off from ANY promotion of her until after she'd finished school. The fact that she has not been promoted at all is the main (and only) reason why she is largely flying under the radar. But that is soon to change. Republic Records just recently built a recording studio exclusively for her to use. And that happens before she has generated anything in return, financially. They are very aware of the gem they have on their hands. Angelina released a 6 song EP called "Old Enough" on July 21st, containing all original songs. Apart from the amazing voice, the tone, the vibrato, she has incredible musical skills, making her own arrangements. People will highlight her humility and empathy, also I have to add the passion she has for music. At this young age she listened to Screamin' Jay Hawkins. I think introduced by her grandma, who, being an artist (painter), wanted Angelina to sing "Portrait of a man". Angelina then heard his "I put a spell on you" and decided that this was something substantial that she could work on. The original was more theatre than music, Angelia took the passion of that version and made it more music.
