A showing of the lights in the vacation house 2020. Several nice vintage pieces and a good assortment of outdoor lighting.

Wow this has to be one of the most gorgeous homes that I’ve ever seen. All these beautiful fixtures really put the home together. I would die to own a house like this overlooking the lake. What a beautiful country setting. The craftsmanship of this home is just breathtaking. I would really love to see more videos of this home in the future.

I would love to have a house like this too. Amazing architecture and property. It's not mine so there will only be as many videos as I recorded during the vacation, and then that's it unfortunately.

The way that halogen turns on at 1:20 reminds me of rapid start fluorescent

Along with fan oil you should start bringing over one of those 2 orange light and 1 red light outlet testers; along with being able to verify if an outlet works or not which would solve half these light problems, it'd be interesting to see how many outlets are dangerous and should be avoided! That's a very creepy stairway into the basement...

I brought some single-outlet surge protectors with me which have a grounding indicator on them. Several of the outlets I attempted to use were not grounded, including but not limited to the one by the sink in the bathroom which was quite dangerous. Some of the outlets were only 2-prong outlets, I suspect the grounded ones were added illegally without modifying the wiring. I could have used one of those protectors, or any other appliance, to test the outlet in the living room. Didn't come to mind at the time, didn't really make any difference either way. I didn't particularly like that basement stairway, it was very steep and narrow. I found that stove in the basement to be kind of creepy too.

3:43. Those types of fixtures aren't my favorite. They don't have much ventilation at all and are bug traps. I prefer the more open fixtures, such as most of the ceiling fan light kits.

They're not my favorite either for the same reasons. I also find they don't put out that much light.
