Honestly they need to add an "ancient teaching" for holy paladin. Would be easier for them to balance its dmg and healing. IMHO, go one side caster holy pally and then other melee like monk would be nice

Had a couple pulls in Beta that were doing over 1mil DPS. I think if the base hpal kit is good enough to skate through heal checks this will be huge in keys. I just don't have a ton of faith in the base(spec) kit still.

I really, really hope that this goes live with even half the power it has now. I’ve been building a mythic plus set up around this entirely focused on CDR for weapons and huge healing from avenging crusader. Properly timed, you can do as much damage as a DPS and full heal the group with one Crusader Strike.

Cool video. I really wanna play LS in TWW. Next time, maybe try all out melee wings. More uptime of melee wings, fewer WoG and more shield of righteousness and veneration procs into hammer of wrath.

Honestly? Holy paladin might be a prime candidate for another aug like spec, if they're looking to branch out. Maybe even split the holy tree into 2 specs, one melee healer and one caster / buff? Holy and Emperyan? Paladin always had that "buff your allies" archetype

I really like lightsmith so I dearly hope its viable :( Negatives: Its yet another button Lighsmith doesnt just have the sheer buffs that Herald gives to our spells like Luminosity, Second Sunrise, Sun Sear, Eternal Flame healing for 25% on self.. etc etc. Since Hpal core kit is still pretty weak eveb heavily nerfing beacons, tyr's, glmmer, I cant see LS comparing to Herald for the time being. I really hope I end up wrong though!

Tested it and the damage contribution from Sacred weapon it's huge, and the shield it's amazing, your party it's safe to big aoe damage. But I feel it's belongs more to a caster playstyle than a meele one (I am not saying it's bad, but for meele style can feel a little cunkly). And Lightsmith + Blessing of summer juggling can feel a little overwhelming

Sofar I really Wana play Hpally/Aug/Spriest in a comp with what ever tank and a nutty dps (my uholy dk friend for me) and pocket the DK. I'm ngl I'm kind of excited.

The fact that light smith doesn’t interact with HP generation at all is pretty weird - you should get some incentive for casting WOG… every X HP consumer spent gives out a shield/weapon at reduced effectiveness.
