There's nothing wrong with milk inherently, but you might want to look into the dairy industry specifically in the US. In order to get the most milk/money from each cow they keep the cow pregnant for almost the whole year round, which increases it's lactation range from 6 months to 10, making it 40% more profitable. The problem for the consumer comes into play when you account for the fact that estrogen production in the cow's body during I believe the first 2 months of pregnancy is up to 31x as much as other times in the cycle! And residual estrogen remains after the initial increased estrogen production time. All of this adds up to American milk having on average 12x the estrogen of European and Asian cow milk. Keep in mind that this is all true even with labeled "hormone free" milk and dairy, not all of it is. The cheaper hormone treated stuff will be worse. This hormonal imbalance can affect the person's body in many negative ways. It isn't always a major problem because everyone's body works differently, but I would recommend stopping dairy consumption for 2 weeks and seeing if you have any positive changes, believe it or not most people do, especially with recurring acne problems which a lot of people have. Or if you know a local smaller dairy farmer that isn't as concerned with the bottom line above all else, that would be a better option too.
