I just want to feel. Seems like I'm holding on. Never know what's real until it's all gone. Does is hurt to know I can't get out? Well I'm cursed it shows. All around I know that these failures will not end. Never seen the bright side anywhere. Just when I think there's nowhere left to sink, I find that these failures are in my head. It's getting harder to see the forest from the trees and what I can't avoid keeps coming back to me. Complacent while I kill these empty thoughts. Stuck in a place I swore that I'd forgot. Write me off it's all that I know. Wasting words when I should just let go.

Producer: Sam Malko
Production: Scissor Films

Thank you for saying that. I can understand why the fans that have been around for longer might not like the change, but instead of making a big deal about it (stating your opinion isn't making a big deal, but some people in this comment section have made a big deal about it and other have made it a big deal when the person was simply just stating their opinion) I think that they should be supportive of their favorite band evolving even if they do't necessarily like the new change. I think that because the people themselves evolve and asking them to not do so including with their music is unhealthy and unfair. For bands like this, they're telling people about their lives and that deserves some mad respect no matter what because that's not an easy thing to do.

This is such a good song. Its nice to see a softer side of the band. Plus its catchy. It shows that Chris is still great at writing melodies. And in my opinion everyone that's saying it could be better doesn't truly comprehend that's its a lot harder to write and structure a good melody with singing the patterns for screaming, and all the stuff about the band could have out more leads and solos and extra. No matter how good the musicians are if you put to much in one song it takes away from the other parts of the song. You don't need to shred or be super technical on every part of every song to make good music. I honestly hope they continue with experiment with different sounds then they've done in the past.

Can we just establish that all the people who are saying they got generic are in my opinion, not correct. Generic metal would be more like GNF where its nothing but the first three frets palm muted. This song is filled with creative riffs and chord progressions. There is a lot of layers in the mix which creates a captivating chorus. If anything those commenting generic are looking for the term selling out. However in the music business selling out is just becoming famous. Lyrically it is a more mature song compared to their previous stuff and compared to other bands who are stuck singing about their teenage heartbreaks this band is excelling lyrically. I know that everyone has different tastes in music but personally looking at it from a musicians point of view this is not that "Generic." It may be simple but not generic.

Am I the only one who wants them to stick to this style? This song is beautiful. Probably their best.

James Smith I love this style too. But unfortunately his voice isn't built to sing shit like this live.

I love this song but I see a lot of people saying the lyrics are more positive. personally I don't think so but I can see why people say that. I hope they don't go positive because I really like lmtf for the gritty, pessimistic, and fuck everyone including myself kind of lyric style. that shit is so real.

Connor Quinn I think it’s because the song sounds a bit more upbeat compared to old LMTF so people just assume that it’s more positive for some reason lmao

Havoc Faction there's nothing wrong with it I didn't say that. what I said was i like the lyrics style that they have which has negative overtone.

The lyrics sound anything but positive. I mean he's talking about constantly being a failure and sinking into depression

Not to knock on LMTF or Chris but it's just so weird hearing how the band has changed styles - really reminds me of Broadway. Anyhow this is MY OPINION (so dont get angry if I say this) but I like old LMTF a lot more - Chris really has this sonic anger that cant really be compared to death metal/deathcore acts and that's rare to find in the scene.
