We also gotta look on the fact that he probably didn't practice before singing this on GENIUS As a singer (non-professional), before recording on my own gear, I do a lot of warmups, and practicing And I do dozens of takes before rolling with the best one I could do. I believe he also really practiced before recording the actual song, and Autotune and processing is merely for that aesthetic, pleasing sound. On GENIUS he probably just sang how he felt without putting real effort in it, I mean he sang it an octave lower sometimes here.
