Lil Tracy is not a signer, he’s a sound artist who creates melodic sound by changing his vocal tone in a certain way to match the effects such as reverbs and deepened echos being added to his voice, also the addition of manual over-tuning of mainly the higher pitched frequencies of his voice help create a better sound. This sort of vocal engineering or ‘new wave’ sound/style may be frowned upon by traditional singers and their audiences. I’m assuming from your comment that you do not consistently listen to or appreciate the work of many mainstream artists of the American hip hop community, I’m talking artists like young thug, lil Uzi vert, lil Wayne, Tory Lanez and shit. These guys can spit bars but they can also create amazing vocal tunes with heaps of effects. Melodic music is getting more and more popular, this lyrical rap stuff and traditional song singer is old and basic, anyone can do it, but can you mimic Tory Lanez’ voice with affects and a mastered flow? This is the difference between traditional signers and these new waves trap artists list Tory lanez. Traditional signers would sound amazing if they adopted these crazy melodic vocal effects
