Unchecking "Play Audio While Scrubbing" is fine and dandy but what if you doing audio cuts? You need that on while using precise editing while using the arrow keys. And, there is a quick key for that. Mac = Shift + S.

you can also chose all the files you want to slowdown in project folder and change speed with Ctrl + R in 1 second
