Back when he speedran Sekiro he put the game into Spanish, because IIRC it's the fastest language to do it in? Or just for the fun of it. But Gyoubu shouting ME LLAMOOOOO GYOUBU MASATAKA ONIWAAAA became a meme from that and thus became his sub alert. I love his sub alerts because they're the only ones I've seen that aren't loud and annoying like everyone else's. I like Gino's videos but I can't stand the fact that he's constantly being talked over by "MAYBE MAYBE, THE BEST NUT EVEARR?" as his sub alert.

pro tip : in (standard) Irish, Eochaid... isn't pronounced 'cause the modern Irish form is Eochaidh-but if it were without that final "h", it _would_ be pronounced /ˈɔxɪdʲ/. The initial "e" and the "a" are both entirely silent (they're there for orthographical reasons), the "ch" is a fricative (like in "Bach" (for those who studied German) and kind of like in "Javier" (for those who have studied Spanish)), and there would be a slight "y" sound after the final d. P.S. and TLDR : courtesy of someone who replied to this comment, it's pronounced approximately "ohiddy" (where the "i" is a short one (like "bit") and the last "y" is the consonent version, not the "ee" sound ; and also the stress is on the first syllable)

Linguistics are wild, there's an international phonetic alphabet of every sound that's used in human speech and it's like 160 "letters" long. And then each one is used in different ways from there making it even more complicated

@@adderous I'm not quite sure to understand what you mean by that last sentence. The whole point of the IPA is that one letter always represents the same sound. In practice, when describing specific languages, it's true that the same symbol might be used in the context of two different languages to represent two slightly different sounds, but we're talking about _very_ minor differences

kinda crazy, domo could've probably won that if he did some prep before getting the bell bearings. Like getting the Siofra elevator grace, killing the stormveil crucible knight and get the imbued key in raya. Then he could just get the bearing, rush wormface and since he already had the belfries the crucible knights would be really quick. Then with the advantage on dragonkin it could've worked out.

Glad to get back to bingo after the slog that was the randomania runs. After that horrible finals match I don't think I could stand to watch Aggy play another randomania run ever again. It was clearly set up as a troll from the organizers from the start given how boring and terrible the format was from the start.
