GILAD HEKSELMAN and KIRK KNUFFKE have been part of the jazz scene in New York and around the world for more than a decade and both have been been named winners of the “Rising Star” critics poll by Down Beat Magazine a.o. They are critically acclaimed jazz musicians for their work in their own bands, with their own releases and as sidemen. Both of them and Lilly as well, have their roots in and a great love for the tradition, while interpreting and renewing it with openness, creativity and prescence.
LILLY has released five critically acclaimed albums and has played, recorded and collaborated with some of the finest, most talented and versatile creative musicians in Scandinavia and US.
