Finnick Odair is such an unappreciated character who won the hunger games at age 14 was prostituted at age 16 and on top of that he couldn't be with the woman he loved and was reaped for a quarter quell with a woman who was like a mother to him and his friendship with Katniss was truly important because he is truly the only one who can understand what she was going through they both felt like they had let down their loved ones down and honestly I hate that the movies cut down so much of their friendship and I hate in general how little we get of Finnick Odair in general like he deserves better and we deserve better and he's such a kind and selfless soul despite all that he's been through like he literally sacrificed his life for the rebellion so millions of people could be saved and the fact that he went though hell and back just to protect Annie is so like he loves her so much and the level of love and intimacy the two share in their relationship is unreal and I'm forever disappointed that we didn't get a lot more of them in the movies because their relationship is so unlike any other relationship I've ever seen and the fact that he didn't even get to see his son or even find out that he was gonna be a father and he didn't get his happy ending with Annie which is all he ever wanted and he deserved the freaking world and Finnick Odair is just really underrated, you feel me?

Peeta is not useless. He is a huge part of the reason Katniss survived the first two games. If he hadn't made her look desirable and gotten them sponsors, things like the water purifier and that burn medicine would never have come her way and she would have died of dehydration or infection. Sure, Peeta isn't good with combat or survival but he is brilliant with words and strategy. He doesn't let his vision become clouded by emotions and bloodlust, like Katniss and Gale. But at the same time, Peeta would be dead without Katniss. So they both compliment each other well and are both the reason the other is alive.

If I was picked as the male tribute from district 11, here’s how it would go: The horn sounds, I run away from the cornucopia. Running away instantly earns me top 12. I run back to the cornucopia when everyone is gone, later in the day. At night, I hide in a tree. Now I’m top 11 since district 8 female died in night 1. I would try to make an alliance with Foxface, and we keep gathering supplies and staying low. We would probably stick together till the entire land mine situation, where I stab Foxface when she isn’t looking. Now I’m top 5. I do not go to the feast, since I already have supplies from gathering with Foxface. Since I replaced Thresh, Katniss would be killed by Clove. Now I’m top 4. The mutts enter the arena. Peeta is killed by mutts since he can’t move. I run and climb a tree, climb as high as I can. The mutts disappear, it’s now me, Cato, and Clove. Since it’s top 3, Cato kills Clove in her sleep. Me v Cato... I follow Cato, and when he is sleeping, I sneak in and slit his throat. I win. That’s my survival tactic.
