I get that some people don’t like King‘s HS damage but it can be avoided. If it is the Jaguar Sprint afterwards is almost useless as I now get jabbed out of it.

It still does. It's the same crouch status as any of the other Mishima style wavedash. It even still has high crush during the wavedash, I've labbed it and I've evaded a few jabs going under during a wavu loop The one their pertaining to as no crouch status is likely when he does moves out of the step, and a having a higher hitbox. It used to have quite a bit of crushing more so than other waveashes though. Now it's similar to any of the other wavedashes, just less crushing when doing an attack out of the dash (except ff,n+2l

@@balther10 I know the patch notes did say it had no crouch status, but the crouchdash indeed still has crushing/crouch. I'm confused about the change as well on what they actually removed, cuz I've crushed my own jabs when I labbed my own crouchdash against myself. It probably just has less frames being in crouch, cuz back then it had a lot of time being in crouch, now it's only really slight/fast, just like any of the other wavedashes. Its about the same amount of high crush as an electric, the window is very tiny, but its there

I definitely believe King is worse after the patch, but he’s still solid. I really don’t think we’ve seen the last of adjustments on King, it’ll just be awhile until the next patch.

saw some young fool in the comments saying that he didnt know why majin was complaining about king. 🤦♂️ bruh… majins been a day 1 king specialist since tekken 1 and primarily king too - not always hopping around to the best s tier characters for the year/update like what alot of other players do. hes stayed loyal the entire time. hes also not going to bich out on his main after this nerf to something else like what most players do. he is therefore one of the highest authorities on king, and therefore his word means a damn thing 😂 seriously kid? 🤦♂️

King is kind of an anomaly. He's the most "OP" character in history to not win any stacked, major events nor place top anything. Tier users like Arslan, Knee, Khan, Kkokkoma, etc. didn't even look King's way to use him in tournaments. There is a reason for that.

Yeah I can definitely feel the King nerfs above the rest of the characters I play even Reina who there were a LOT of complaints about her nerfs still feels ok compared to what they did with King...he still does damage but applying it has become tougher than ever before. One thing has become certain to me...this time if you get a rank on King in THIS patch you've actually earned it. I am picking up Kazuya and Alisa as reinforcements...both of which I have plans on making them more appealing.

@@Santanazation Yes Kazuya I was planning on as a potential King substitute and the Alisa as a Reina substitute...but Alisa lacks punch in her dialog her combat though is insane especially if you rework her costume and scrub it of the elements that make her less serious. Once you do that Alisa's fear factor increases since despite her voice...you can clearly see the Chainsaws and her decapitating herself to destroy you.

Damn Majin got a lot of haters! That’s kinda crazy to me, everyone has moments where they say “ that character is op” or “this is bs my character can’t do this” Reality of it is we are human and we’re allowed to express how we feel, playing a game like T8 where it’s offensively heavy means your opponent and you have to match tempo or throw your opponent off tempo and control the neutral. It’s easier said than done and a lot of you are toxic mess! Tekken has done a number on its community and it shows the most in blatantly hating on a former pro who is leaps and bounds more successful than yourself, not one of you have ever come close to top 24 in a legit tournament. Know your place scrubs!

King is the slowest character with no frame advantage moves lol ff2 is the only +7 frame which you can see from downtown Other characters just spam multiple strings with almost every hit being juggle starter To play King you have to know extremely well every character move to be able to counter - attack King is the hardest character to master Kudos Lil_Majin❤

Don't know why those dumbasses at Bamco thought he needed nerfs. Just because he does good against casuals and scrubs in online ranked doesn't mean shit. He hasn't won any significant tournament in T8 yet and has done barely done anything in mid to high level competitive which should always be the most important levels for balancing. Especially when compared to many other characters that are way bigger problems and have done way more at those levels than he ever will. He's still a mid tier like he always is people need to stop crying and realize he's not a problem. The problem is that most of these scrubs just aren't skilled enough and are too lazy to learn how to beat a simple knowledge check character.
