Even until today I think this is one of the best battles ever. This battle had everything delivered from both ends through the entire battle whether it's a conversation (through their movement), signature moves, execution, you name it. This is what a battle should be like imo.

two legends facing off in the first round (they both still had all their moves available to them) and both really wanting to move on is the recipe for an absolutely banging battle. still fresh 10 years later

That battle felt like a final. These two really brought the fire and did not hold back; Taisuke's sets were so fierce (but still with that flow) even with his classic mocking attitude, and Lilou did his thing acting cocky and putting on a show with his flexibility and acrobatics. The winner doesn't matter to me, all that should matter is they put on possibly the hottest singles battle of the year.

I can't blv that some people here, disagree with the fact that Taisuke should win. I mean, take a good look.. He stepped with the rythm..straight and clear moves, nice flow, very powerful flares etc. 1st round-Taisuke 2nd Lilou 3rd Taisuke Peace!

I may not like Lilou's taunt sometimes, but you have to admit his stuff is nasty. That first round Taisuke tried his signature power and combos for competition. But lilou didn't even have to do power most of the time to make the crowd go crazy. Lilou brought a mix of style, taunts, comedy, power, transitions, freezes and abstract acts. While Taisuke had style, taunts, power, freezes, and transitions, BUT his sets were short and you saw him running out of energy. Give respect to both dancers, they were very good.

Dear Redbull, Pls fire your camera team and hire Strife. Thank you.

One of the most iconic battles ever. Two legends and Jay Park MCing as well. For me Taisuke shoudve taken it, I feel like the judges kind of let the crash go in round one cause his shoe fell off but im the end of the day a crash is a crash. Regardless of the result, DOPE BATTLE

You have to give it to Taisuke, he was on the music no mistakes and great moves, but then again Lilou is the one you will never mind winning, although I am a Lilou fan I would give this to Taisuke ( personal opinion )

I don't understand how Taisuke could've lost. Yes his last set was a bit short but besides that he was on point and killed every round. With all due respect to Lilou and Poe One etc, I don't know Taisuke could've lost that.

It was a 3 to 2 vote. Lilou in my opinion had more flavor, originality and variety with style/flexibility/power and signature styles. Taisuke had good blowups, dynamics and execution/power. So it was really close, but I thought the decision was fair.

Both Bboys are great.Bad line up starting these 2 to face off first.Anyway my point is that both Taisuke and Lilou gave it their all and were hungry right from the start.Luck is not on Taisuke side but clearly he is the one that is more hungry and willing to risk it all to go through.Lilou also did great but Taisuke sets were more better and have that message to it.Taisuke deserve to win that battle but still great job for both bboys

How was this close? Lilou crashed so hard in the first round while taisuke was just on fire. The third round Lilou did less than Taisuke! That's already2 out of three rounds. The only close round was round 2 and even with that being a tie Lilou lost 2 out of 3 rounds. Do you remember how Thesis lost to Toshiki because of ONE slip?
