Provence n'est pas une ville c'est un région. Mais Aix-en-Provence est une ville très pittoresque. Elle était proche, mais pourrais savoir plus si elle reste souvent en France.

Im french and I think that she does speak pretty well but she did say that Provence was a city and also said belle.. when you say « c’est » you then say beau as in masculin but then again she’s got a really cute accent and I could understand her anyway

My Grandmother grew up in France and I just went to Paris for the first time with my friends for a birthday trip but the birthday girl just wanted to go to Eurodisney so the only time I have been to Paris I spent the entire time at Disney 🥲 I can feel my Gran rolling in her grave 😬

^Lily is gorgeous!!!! I think a health issue combined with her skinniness and possibly being overworked are reasons possibly behind her eyes. Even her forehead during the show crinkles a lot. Add to the fact she is of Anglo Saxon heritage ….who age faster. Again NOT putting her down she’s is beautiful and still looks young. And great that she isn’t pumping herself full of Botox.

@@simsjam9802 I know! She is beautiful. I was just commenting on people mentioning her under eyes. Everyone ages at different rates. I work with a lot of people in their 30s that don’t have her under eyes but again they aren’t as thin as her. But the fact is different ethnic backgrounds age differently…. It is what it is also a persons lifestyle factors and SPF affect a persons skin What I admire about her is she hasn’t felt the need to get it fixed in a world full of plastic surgery and people tweaking there looks at the slightest start of a wrinkle

God forbid a person change in any slight way as they get older! It’s delightful to see a normal (and beautiful) person, probably in more normal lighting, in a culture where people are expected to ‘fix’ any signs of aging as they show up. The way people feel they need to comment on a person who hasn’t Botoxed themselves to the (ridiculous) beauty standard! Must make it even harder to accept your natural features.

Because she’s on the very skinny side… wrinkles are going to show up more. And you lot must be only teenagers but the wrinkles start showing up more once you hit the 29, 30 mark. Not huge but they start to become a little bit more noticeable. You’re also probably not used to seeing a celeb her age with wrinkles because I’d say 90% of celebs as old as her are already on the Botox and fillers. Jeez the way so many people are pointing out her wrinkles, you’ll all get them too one day regardless. And I can understand why celebs get work done with the amount of comments people make about their appearances. So judgmental.

No one was calling HER these things. The critisism was never about Lily Collins, because she literally just took the role because she is an actress. The critisism was about the show itself and the writers who made it so bad.

There isn't a city called Provence. There are a good few towns with Provence in the title (my husband is from near Nîmes which borders the traditional region of Provence). I have either driven through them or seen signs for them. They don't say villages, towns and cities in France. They don't differentiate they just say Ville. In English this translates as city. French person please correct me.

We do have "village" and "ville" that are used, "lieu-dit" can also be used for some cases but it's true that for conversation flow most of the time it seems like we just say "ville"
