Not just the universe. She's talked about how there is maybe one or two Native roles a year which she would like to play (not just non-stereotypical but nuanced). We haven't had a Native-led big-budget movie in ... I don't know how many years ("Twilight" cast a white actor for its Native lead, after all). It's thanks to the decades of advocacy of Indigenous activists (look back at Sacheen Littlefeather's speech!) that there are more of these roles available, and they're good roles, and Natives are getting cast for them now. It's also, as Gladstone said in her speech, thanks to the allies like Scorsese and DiCaprio for listening to what Natives have been saying
