Sincerely for me, i had good experiences with the ghana nurses. I came into ghana briefly some years back when i was pregnant with my 2nd child, all through my antenatal and delivery, the nurses at La general hospital were so caring, infact their attitude made me go into the health sector. Though im back to Nigeria but i regret coming back, cant wait to come back to Ghana. Only 1 year i came back to Nigeria from ghana, i don see shege banza. I swear my life was much better when i was in ghana. Ghana gave my life a meaning. I gave birth via CS without paying a dime. Did a professional course and graduated, something I couldn't achieve in my so called country. Well done Lilly, your growth inspires me.

This is just so wow. Awww, I remember La general hospital then, it’s no more as the government has turned most of the hospital in the country to pollyclini. Come back to Ghana and find something to do here. God bless you.

Its not true that most of the hospital have been turned into polyclinics infact the reverse ist what's happening ... La polyclinic Was changed to La General hospital before it was demolished.. they r currently building structured so they could be up to any hospital Standard...i worked there when it was a polyclinic@@LilyOgini

Lilly, most of our secondary schools to the university are boarding schools. This gives us an opportunity to live and learn together, it removes the differences among our tribes. Secondly, our parents did not prevent us from marrying each other tribes. Lastly, we don’t preach against our tribes in our churches. We also sell farming lands to other tribes for their settlements. As a result, we are mixed up in every family. Every Nuclear family is formed by different tribes. Finally, Ghanaians do not like seeing blood .This is the foundation of our peace ☮️

Exactly. The high school boarding system was the best thing to happen to Ghana. We learn to live and enjoy each others company regardless of your tribe. 99 percent of the tribalistic people are the ones who never attended.

@@jean-claudemangan2708 You're very funny. The only one I know who is the giver of peace is GOD! Jesus himself said that the peace he gives us is unlike anything the world can offer. It's interesting to observe that Ghana, a country I hold dear, is known for its peaceful atmosphere. I believe this peace stems from the deep love and fear of God that the people of Ghana possess. Unlike some other African countries I am aware of, Ghanaians have a unique aversion to easily resorting to violence or taking another person's life. In our culture, we often say "give it to God" because we firmly believe that only God has the power to seek ultimate revenge or justice. It's a reflection of our faith and trust in a higher power. I find these aspects of our culture and belief system truly fascinating. It's a testament to the power of faith and the impact it can have on a society. I thought you might find this perspective interesting as well.

You were saying something that man can slap a woman because she didn't greet him, and I'm not surprised, my dad from Ghana Mom is Jamaican and Nigeria, and I was born in Baltimore Maryland, raised in Ghana, I remember 2011, I was having my lunch in the chop bar, a Nigerian guy came in to buy, fufu and this guy started yelling a woman who can be my mom's age, this guy continue to shouting on food seller, I was very mad, and I quick get up and throw my soup on the guy's face, because of the way he was embarrassing this woman, and I'm not regretted, why? Because I don't want to see women treated that way, I respect all mothers and women around the world. Especially my beautiful black queens

Lots of tribes in Ghana hold women in high esteem. Do a little research on the role our female entrepreneurs played in the independence of Ghana, under Kwame Nkrumah. 31st December women's movement also empowered the girl child and self sustainable mothers. This Ghana and Naija comparison is 😂.

Fish dey begin to spoil from the head. In Ghana, the buck doesn't stop with the president, it stops with the paramount chief. The chiefs' influence is the type that transcends money and is the reason for the calm demeanor of Ghanaians. Nigeria has respectable chiefs too, but their influence is not as far-reaching as in Ghana.
